Update WordPress Theme Safely Without Losing Anything

Thanks for the info. Just wondering, wouldn't it be a good idea to update the theme periodically to take advantage of new features and improvements? I understand that some things might break, but wouldn't it be worth the effort to fix any issues and keep the theme up-to-date?

Is there a way to retrieve the information if, like me, you updated the active theme before watching this video? I can see the page content in the side panels in the dashboard view but they have disappeared from the live site 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m hoping this means that the content isn’t permanently lost but how would I re link that content to the active theme?
