Weddin Mountains in the Central West of NSW about 290 kms west of Sydney. It has a highest point of 750 mts dominating the landscape above the flat plains. Weddin Mountains run roughly north south with steep cliffs on the eastern side. It was the hiding placefor the bushranger Ben Hall and his gang, nearby Grenfell was the birthplace of the poet Henry Lawson. The sandstone cliffs have been carved out by numerous creeks creating some spectacular rock formations with some unique flora and fauna.This was a 3 day hike by the Canberra Bushwalking Club led by Keith T

Must admit that I knew very little of the Weddin Mountains before the hike but was most impressed by this set of mountains that dominate the flat plains of Central NSW. The many creeks have carved out some remarkable gullies out of the sandstone rock. It probably gets overshadowed by more popular destinations but it certainly deserves more attention

Muchas gracias Pilar es un placer aunque mis vídeos en Australia son por zonas sin senderos y me guió por mapas, el último vídeo mío fuimos a una zona muy espectacular con unas impresionantes cascadas. Ésas zonas no suele pasar nadie así que tiene esos elementos que tus ojos están viendo cosas que lo ven muy pocas personas pero creando el vídeo compartes con todo el mundo
