Hi, I do a similar box type "cake box" but use different mediums, no paint though because it is too time consuming. I was wondering, how do you get the cards out. Mine come out the bottom but I didn't see how yours come out. Thanks.

Great question! The lid comes off the bottom tier so you can open it to get the cards out that way. Hope that helps!

What paint did you use? Brand and type? I bought a similar hat box (white papermache). I was advised to use acrylic paint and not to soak it with paint. Just hoping you will share what type of paint you used as it looked like it worked smoothly on your box.
