I worked at the San Diego Zoo (and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park) as a tour guide a few years back and it brings my heart SO MUCH JOY seeing how happy you were with the animals and the behind the scenes encounters. ❤ Thank you for being an advocate for the Zoo, it really is such a wonderful place that I highly respect for their expansive conservation efforts and focus on wildlife preservation. Not all Zoos are safe, but thankfully the San Diego Zoo blows all of them out of the water with how incredible the exhibits are and the efforts of the wildlife care staff. I could rave about the organization for hours. Happy belated 30th birthday Lauren (I also recently celebrated my thirtieth in June) and glad you enjoyed your time in San Diego! 🦥

We couldn't decide on wedding cake layer flavors so we ended up doing fancy cake holders shaped like a 2 sided split staircase. We could've had 8 different flavors but we loved the carrot cake so much we made both bottom landings that flavor😂🤷‍♀️. No regrets 😁

As someone who also didn't know their father, do the DNA testing. I did what my ethnicity was because we had literally no idea and the results were crazy. My mom got it for me for Christmas. Talk about an awkward Christmas dinner when I walked in and announced that I wasn't Korean, I was a weird blend of Chinese, Japanese, and Turkish. Highly recommend for the fun of it

About the cakes you can get the sheet cakes from one bakwry and the cutting cake from another if that gets you all the best flavours. If these end up being some of the best you could always do two small (half or quarter) sheet cakes of carrot and berry from here and a funfetti fancy cutting cake from whatever bakery does it best. I feel like fu funfetti would cut so pretty all white outside then surprise colours when its cut open.
