YES to having intimate weddings/parties IN GENERAL!! omg can't stress it enough! I had an intimate graduation party the other day and before it for some reason I was stressing about it being too boring or too small of a group. Well it was not! I promise you it won't be and you will regret having random people there more than having a small amount. I was surrounded by so much love at my party that I didn't even care about the size! Just do small parties y'all and save that extra money on a trip or the honeymoon!

Omg yes to wedding etiquette!! When I got married we had a nice venue, expensive too 😬 and they were very strict with things. The day of the wedding the DJ brought his family with him (about 6 extra people) they ate and drank alcohol and we told the venue owner about it following our wedding because I saw it as very unprofessional and at first he was being rude about it but in the end he ended up refunding us some money.

I got married on May 19, 2018 and to be honest it was great because it was only for close family members for my husband and I. It was a civil union and we went to eat after. We agreed we didn't want anything fancy and big! 5 years later, we have a daughter and still going strong 🥰

I love your podcast! 😭 I definitely agree with the No kids in a wedding like you guys said if you’re not for it don’t go! Because girl for my baby shower I had little kids running around the stage and taking all my decor and balloons down and stilling in the chairs where the parents are supposed to sit at and the parents just chilling like nothing. My mom and I were telling them to get down and they still wouldn’t listen smfh. NEVER AGAIN. And all these kids are from my man’s side of the family.

When my sister got married, my dad was trying to invite the whole vecindad 😂 my sister had to tell him to stop inviting people and next thing you know, people were standing up and we had to pull out a random table to seat people.
