I passed on both of these. First Sight was too similar to In The Stars & even as a floral lover I didn't care for Dressed In White 😂. The thin core wicks do burn kind of fast but I usually get a cleaner burn with them. Great in depth review! I hope the Asian Heritage Month candles are good, looking forward to those 😊.

I work at a Uni, and the vaporous halo of BR/Cloud is a ubiquitous thing 😂 as a middle aged woman I would never…but it does smell nice on them

I know people say In The Stars is a 540 dupe and similar to First Sight, but I don’t smell that at all. I love the BR 540 scent profile and have smelled In The Stars multiple times with the intention of buying one, but don’t get the same vibe so I always pass. However, I smelled it instantly in First Sight. I first bought the body wash, eventually the wallflower, and then went back for the body spray. I just saw the colognes are going on sale tomorrow so I plan to pick it up. I think it is a lovely variation on 540 while still maintaining the original’s essence.

Yessss! I agree that the ITS comparison has always been a bit overblown. I like ITS but it is pretty distant to Baccarat. (I break this down further in my recent SAS haul) First Sight is a great dupe. It leans a bit more austere, i.e. less sweet. Ariana Grande’s dupe Cloud leans more sweet. Last note - I do think the cologne is a bit more masculine than all the other products. It’s still great, but definitely the most cologne-like. The body spray is more Baccarat like.

My late husband would never want to smell like BR540, which I personally wear a lot. I have bought a few BBW scents for my teenage sons. If I bought them anything similar to BR540, they would think I lost my mind giving them "girl smells" lol.

Similar. I actually think Mon Amour is closer to BR or to Ariana’s Cloud, i.e. it’s sweet all the way. BBW’s is strongly woody, maybe a little less sweet?

Thank you! Is First Sight similar to In the Stars? That one has a hint of BR to me. I don’t have the Dressed in White candle, but I have the mist and it REALLY reminded me of something and I finally figured it out… Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia. At least to me. 😊

I really like the dress in white scent. I even got a body cream😍 it is a fantastic floral The new mother’s day scent is bad lol, it way too floral 😂 I agree that first sight is not masculine

Thank you for the review! I’ve been waiting for a First Sight review, and you are giving me hope that the performance will improve. First 2 different batch numbers I burned were almost scentless after 2 3-hour burns. I exchanged a few backups for a different batch number hoping one of them will perform. I have 6 in total and would hoard more if I can get one that will throw. I’ll try to get to the halfway point and see it that makes a difference🩵💙 Can you share what batch number you burned?

Very nice in-depth video. First sight does not move in our store. I don’t see men beelining to this collection even when I steer them that way. lol. The few I see buying the scent are women. I personally don’t like the scent. Smells weird on my skin.

@@coffeecandles3359 women seem to like this scent better than men. The candle sells more than the body care. This is just my observation of the customer buying pattern in my store. If BBW were to repackage the body care with a female appealing design, I think women will be more inclined to buy it. The bridesmaids’ collection!! 😃 A couple of my female colleagues bought the colognes at the $30 price point a few weeks ago when I would thought that they would pick up brightest bloom. 🤷‍♀️
