You can only connect bluetooth on the Everse 8 for 1 of the 2 options at a time: Either you can control or stream music.

I’ve ran into the issue that the receiver isn’t getting enough power from the speaker. Are you using a different cable then what came with the Tray?

haven't had that issue. As soon as I turn on the speaker, the receiver kicks on.
