Yes, the practice of being mindfully present to stay aligned with who you really are is key. Energy vampires are a real thing and it is 100% OK to have boundaries around that behavior. I'm working on this as well because keeping the energy up and clean is super important. I am definitely also following your shorter nail influence; they always look clean and elegant. 😊

The place you are staying in Paris is magical. Everything from the room the balcony and the view…all I have to say is wow! When I was very young I dated a guy who would call my names as part of his “sweet-talk” he’d call me “fea” (ugly), “flaca” (skinny), “jibara” (uneducated country girl). He would say these things with a smile and I never reacted or got offended by any of it. Years later we ran into each other and he said “I never understood why you weren’t offended or upset by my remarks”, I answered “because I’ve never been any of those, it didn’t intimidated me or lower my self worth. But now I realize that you were all those things you used to call me”. Mic 🎤 drop!!! I then realized why I was never really into him. His vibe was unattractive.

Thank you for your advice, Tamara. It’s crazy, but I had a small argument with my boyfriend today, and in that moment, I completely lost it and said everything I wanted to say at the time. Now a few hours have passed, and somehow I regret confronting him so harshly because the issue doesn’t seem that problematic to me anymore. Now I’m feeling a bit sad and guilty. 🙁
