She is 💯 correct. A lot of videos say petite girls should wear ALine. I am midsized and petite - 42,34,41. I tried on everything but ultimately what looked good best was a mermaid style fit and flare. I looked like a goddess 😂 can't wait to wear it! And yes it hurt to know that I don't fit into sample sizes but the sooner u accept there is nothing specifically for a mid sized girl out there, the more u will start seeing that u can wear anything with some visualization!

So here's my question: how do individual brides, or retailers in the bridal industry like Lovella, apply more suggestive influence to designers in the industry so that the middle of the size chart in their ranges that samples are cut from, the "bridal" 10-12 is made for the average mid-size bride and is more reflective of a "standard size" 10-12? Because I find it absolutely ridiculous that there's a "bridal" size, and then there's reality. Yes, I understand that even a street size 10-12 will vary from brand to brand within department store articles of clothing, but to the point you made in a department store you have access to a size range. To have access to only a *median* size sample in bridal because of cost restriction, and then to have that median sample not correlate with the *mean* based reality of the middle size person shopping for a wedding dress by a discrepancy of anywhere from 4-6 sizes typically, so that they only have access to try on samples from designers who create in "plus," is absurd. There should not by that much of a discrepancy where you have to use different terminology for sizing, or if you must, then designers or fashion houses - according to their size guides - should cut the sample size it broadcastly ships to stores in the mean average "standard size" for their regional market, which is US 14-16 according to the Journal of Fashion Design, even if that size is not the exact middle of their range of sizes. If they aren't able to cut a sample in the average for a regional market because that size doesn't fall somewhere within their collection, then they shouldn't be called a standard size bridal brand in that market.
