When I got my bridal dress from Kleinfeld's the store was still in Brooklyn and you had your own private dressing room and the lady that helped me was so knowledgeable and nice and carried all the dresses in and I had a 3 way mirror to look at in my dressing room - didn't need to walk out etc. I did get my Eve of Milady dress, but redesigned the puff sleeves to off the shoulder, Cinderella ballgown sleeves with the French cuff - lace went down to the ring finger. It was magnificent - it was white, skirt was huge, silk organza, bodice was beaded with Austrian clear crystals, had fabric roses on the edge of the sleeve with lace and beading, clear, down the sleeves and the edge of the skirt was trimmed with beading. I wore a silver, marquis stoned tiara which matched my wedding ring!

I remember reading in the comments of Say Yes to the Dress, that there was not as much actual space in Kleinfeld's as they make there appear to be, on the show. After seeing how cramped and loud it was in this video, I see how right they were.

Sophie you love playing Barbie dress-up. I personally loved the removable boat neck dress with that glorious veil. Put a shear face covering piece on it & wow. The modesty of that gown was marvelous. Whoever the designer, I praise the artistry. Save your skin for the wedding night.

I have to say, I also loved that you handled the critiques like an adult should. So many of these brides that go in there (on the show, I mean), get so offended when their family and friends say anything bad about the dresses the brides try....as though the brides were the designers.

Lovely girl, beautiful dresses. None of these really look bad.... My choices would be 3,1,4,and then 5 or 2.... The third dress fits her like a glove, and very pretty selection for a wedding to create around the dress. The first dress she tried on, is absolutely incredible, the top is a little distracting, becomes a focus area, but I like Christy's comment on here who suggested to bring up the top a little bit, and it might take my first place... The fourth dress again: is a little low for her body type but its very pretty on her. The second dress, I am not sure is as close a fit as some of the others, and the fifth dress, is less bridal, but an amazing dress. The dresses are all very pretty, and whatever she chooses, this bride will look beautiful.

@@elisscaliving4776 I had a weekday morning appointment in December, so now they have a policy for limiting accompanists. They prepared a small separate room for each bride-to-be. And you won't pick the dress by looking around. The consultant will bring dresses according to your budget and requirement of style. There are 90 mins for trying dresses, I do recommend going there at an early time on a weekday, and do some researches to know your preference of styles better before you go. I tried 6 dresses total. And one of my friends went there on weekend, she only got enough time to try 3 dresses in 90 mins.

18:20 was my favorite. Simple but lovely. I now get it why SYTTD shows maybe 3 dresses per bride and in wildly different shapes. As much as I love wedding dresses, I started to feel bored seeing the variations of the same dress on the same person.
