Thank you Cody for recognizing how shitty it is to deal with alcoholics. Everyone acts like they're so cool and so fun to be around and such party animals, but it's not fun to deal with one all the time, every day. My dad was an alcoholic for a good few years and those were the worst years of my fucking life. I never felt safe when he was drunk - and during that period he would get drunk every DAY. He especially loved to pick on me and be very abusive towards me because I struggled to hide when i was upset or stressed out. And it was even scarier when he got mad. I'm talking he'd threatened my life multiple times. Thankfully he doesn't drink anymore, but those years still stick with me. I still don't feel safe around drunk people.

It’s very hard to leave people right now, with rent prices being so high. I just wanted to say that I know a couple and they are still dating, but because of his alcoholism, she told him that she would not be living in the same apartment as him until he became clean. He has gotten better since the ultimatum. Everyone’s situation is different. I wish you the best.

Truly. When I was a kid I was the ring bearer with my cousin and the wedding ceremony was so long I fell asleep if I'd been alone doing it I'd have 100% missed my cue but my cousin woke me up. yes, they've grown up with such discomfort around love and emotional vulnerability that it resulted in this disaster :') the speaker is clearly uncomfortable because he's never expressed genuine or loving emotion before and so doesn't know how to do it now when it's one of the top times in your life you're expected to. Well, also he could have prepared better, but I'd say maybe even preparing a great speech based on humor (like he was trying to go for) would have either been seen as "showing too much care" or would still inevitably involve him thinking about his emotions which he doesn't like doing. My daughter's cat was sound asleep and dreaming while I was watching this.....until the minister's "singing" in the last clip. He jerked awake, looked around trying to figure out what just happened, then gave me a wtf was that face. It was hilarious! When the clip was over, he got comfy again and went back to his nap. My dog is next to me on my left while my daughter's cat is in front of me. I'm not sure if my dog woke up because of the video or my laughing at the cat's reaction. She woke up, perked her ears up, then gave me the sideways head confusion look. She's a senior doggo, somewhat hard of hearing and not feeling the best right now. She can sleep like a brick when she's in a deep sleep these days. I feel bad they both woke up, but it was pretty funny seeing their reactions. Poor babies.

I was at a friends wedding, and the venue was like attached to a super fancy restaurant and a bar and an event center or something. So there were a lot of people walking by all night and they could see this massive wedding going on. So throughout the entire night, people were trying to sneak in to get free drinks. Which, I guess if you’re the ones sneaking it, it could be kind of funny, but when you’re constantly trying to keep a lookout all night and are forced to kick countless people out of your own wedding, you get pretty sick and tired of it really fast. And the couple should not have to worry about that on their wedding day. I have no sympathy for wedding crashers, although I don’t know if I ever would have had an opinion on it until I saw it happen in person. So I understand why someone would think it’s not a big deal.
