Wedding Photo Edit in Darktable

A friend of mine asked me to make some RAW adjustments in a wedding photo he took some time ago. Here is the process I take in Darktable. I later figured out why the lens distortion correction wasn't working and downloaded some updated profiles for lensfun.

Could you do a video showing how you would have done a correction like this and then add those corrections to other photos shot at the same time and settings. Batch correction like Lightroom.

Question: Is there a button to toggle between the original and edited views of a photo in darkroom? I believe there's an option to see your refined vs. original version in Photoshop's Camera Raw, but I'm curious if darktable has an equivalent. As I can tell from your video, you go back and forth via the history tab. Is this the only way, or is there a keyboard shortcut? Thanks so much and nice edits! :)

Not that I'm aware and that might due to the fact that the "original" settings can be rather customized in Darktable. For example I have it apply a per camera base curve and change the demosiac algorithm from default for Bayer pattern cameras. The quickest way to do that would be to make a snapshot before your edits that you can jump back to I think.

Caleb - look at the snapshot function. Not quite a one button press but you can move a slider over the image to get a before and after.
