It was awesome having you attend our styled shoot! We hope to do it again, we have had a lot of people come and ask us when the next one is. Were deciding if it should be a yearly thing ahaha. ❤️🥰✨

John your laugh is seriously contagious! Every time I watch one of your videos and hear you laugh it just makes my day. Loved watching this, really cool behind the scenes, and beautiful venue!! 😊😊😊

The sentence, "Treating it almost like a full wedding day," is a great way to describe the core of this styled shoot.👍

Yes! I really want to make sure that styled shoots are treated no differently so I can get the same feeling from my photos.

I’ve heard of this venue. I’m from the Franklin County area so not very far from here. Great video footage as always.

That's awesome. Hopefully we can do something like this again.

Would love to do a styled shoot with you, I'm not close to your location 😥. It was still fun watching you do the shoot with Quinn.

I do travel often. Maybe I could start offering styled shoots in different locations.

36:40 question here, ive done a couple champagne shots before and I've found myself holding down back button autofocus AND the shutter while on continuous shot mode. obv in hindsight I realized I should have just pre-focused on the subject and then only hold down the shutter during the champagne spray since I (as the photographer) was not going to be moving much and neither was the subject. so my question is, did you lock focus on the couple first, and then during the spray only hold down the shutter? OR did you let autofocus run and track the subject as you were holding down the shutter button during the entire spray?

*loved watching this! how do you feel about the wood toned walls and ceilings (and floors lol)? **22:04** I absolutely dread that almost peachy-orange tone that bounce flash off of wood can give to skin tones. and I noticed that in your final shots. if I wanted to combat this, how would you recommend I go about it? preferably recommendations that I can apply during shooting as opposed to post-shooting (like orange HSL sliders) to correct skintones in a situation like this?*

In my opinion, maybe try adjusting a custom white balance and taking a some test shots with the subject until you have the skin tones looking like how you want.

@ 15:08 - It absolutely KILLS me inside how wrinkled the groom's jacket is!
@jbivphotography2 ай бұрын
Yeah it was actually pretty bad. I AI’d the wrinkles out a little bit but you can only do but so much.

Great content. The fit of that tuxedo was bad, arms too long, legs too long. Glad it was a styled shoot and not an actual wedding, cause the tux place should be fired.
@jbivphotography14 күн бұрын
Yeah the tux was looking really bad. Super wrinkly too. This was a smaller styled shoot where the planner was also a photographer which puts a lot of pressure on them. She did a great job but sometimes things like that can slip through the cracks.
