The tornado story makes me think of my Aunt's event. No tornadoes fortunately but major weather related. She and her second husband decided to celebrate their anniversary with a second wedding in Hawaii. For those who don't know, most of the time you get light rain at most but ever so often you get a massive downpour, which happened at the reception. Which was on a restaurant patio under a trellis that couldn't hold back the rain. so we kept having to literally pick up the table and carry it further inside when a leak sprung. one of those things that could destroy a wedding but, fortunately, auntie saw the funny side of it and started laughing. That kept it light and we had fun with it. one guest even ran out if refill his water glass in the storm. we apologized to some other patrons later for making a bit of a scene but they all said it was entertaining to watch
