I lived in San Diego for four years, the Mexican food is amazing. There's a place (or used to be) Ocean beach has the best fish tacos! Now I am on the East coast and I search out the authentic Mexican food places. Praying for you all this week as you get ready for your wedding day! Just as good as street tacos here in California. You feel just like you’ve entered a carniceria here or in Old San Diego😀

I’m so glad to see Kelly dancing, & when Gil danced with Katie, or was it Carlin, at their wedding, dancing can be done tastefully. It looks like they may be loosening up a bit in their later years. I know, I sent a message to UPTV asking them to bring Bringing up Bates back!! At least show the final season which had been filmed, edited, & was ready to go. They didn't even have the kindness to answer me!! I actually had been paying $20 a month more, just to get the package with UPTV in it. They didn't answer me, so I called my provider and said, lets get rid of that last tier & just go with basic! I save $24.99 each month now! I hope one of the streaming stations picks up the show, like Hulu! I know there is one station, I think it is Hulu, that is streaming all of the 14 to 19 Kids & Counting. I don't understand people who call into a station and whine because someone said something so they want the show taken off the air. As my mom used to say, there are 2 buttons on the TV &/or the remote. If you don't like something, the channel changer works great! If it is really horrible, there is a button called the on/off button--it is usually in RED on the remote!! I am hoping to see the last season of Bringing up Bates somewhere!!

I saw your post and just wanted to say a belated happy mom's day to you! It is always a little bittersweet for me too as I lost my baby on 12/24/1998. I hadn't even realized I was pregnant. I was at work and thank God I worked with a dear friend who knew what to do. I still remember as she went to pull her car up to the entrance, my boss asking me who was going to do my job?? I was in my early 40s and hadn't been able to get pregnant and wasn't able to get pregnant with a rainbow baby either. It was very early in my pregnancy so they had no idea if the little one was a boy or a girl. For the next few days, I dreamed of a baby girl, so I named her Stephanie Renee. Every Christmas is bittersweet because she would have been born between December 24-26, 1998. I celebrate her birthday on the 24th. I lost my dad in June 1997 & my mom in November 2002. So she has her grandparents caring for her until I get there. They have all of my Rainbow Bridge animals around them, too! It wouldn't be heaven without our fur, feather, scaled, babies around!! So for us and any other moms who had their babies go to heaven too soon, happy (belated!!) Mother's Day!!!

She always put others 1st she raised her sister's 4 kids she took care of her mother and and she always did for others. So it's been hard but I thank God every day for the mother that I had

I lived in Texas when I was a kid for a Winter, traveled to San Diego every year for beach time as an adult and was born and raised in Arizona, and the best Mexican food I have ever tasted in my opinion has always been here in Arizona. Not those touristy areas though...just those great small mom and pop businesses, they make the best food. Like going home to mom's home cooked meals. Always go to the small mom and pop businesses where ever you eat and you will never be disappointed. Food made from the heart, soul and lots of love. Congrats on the Wedding, it's going to be beautiful.

Congratulations congratulations on your upcoming wedding and yeah my mom is in heaven I'm 66 I'm in clintonville Wisconsin my name is Mona and then I wouldn't have her down here I would have her up there where she is she's in a much better place she's up there with my dad my older brother my two baby brothers that I never got to meet and she's up there with Jesus you can't beat that and but I do miss her on mother's Day when I when mother's Day comes around and I miss her all year long and she's been gone a very long time but it doesn't matter still when you don't have your mama for quite a bit of your life and she died when I was 28 and I'm 66 it's hard but I remember my mom was the most generous woman and she was the original Martha Stewart that she could she could sew a ham or soap put clothes together and you couldn't tell a person did it it looked like a machine did it and she could do it by hand she could you know the whole making skills she had and the cooking skills were phenomenal and she didn't think it was any great shape she didn't think she was humble she loves Jesus she believed in miracles beyond what somebody might be able to she taught me that there's nothing impossible with God and my whole life has been that way I'm a miracle I could have not been and still could not be alive if it wasn't for God doctors and nurses can keep me alive I was born out of time a long time ago 3 months and my mom was only 6 months pregnant when she had me 66 years ago and I wasn't to live but God and it's truly but God and he's kept me all these years and it was my mom's face that she taught me about Jesus and my dad he taught me about Jesus but he didn't get truly saved saved until it was either the year he died or the year before but he got saved under Billy Graham's ministry and Jesus completely changed this man's personality my Irish American Daddy became humble became loving between caring but he was a Wonder saved or not saved he loved Jesus and they let me know that they that Jesus is the way that's the greatest gift parents can give to a children is Jesus and live it before him and my parents did they were ordinary people they were country people even though daddy and mama had to live in the city more in the country they were country inside and out daddy grew up on a farm and they were just down home people and but they love the Lord and everybody knew them knew that I know this was kind of long I'm talking into a microphone so he gets a little bit long I'm legally blind and I have to use it so if there's an extra word in there or the punctuations off on me congratulations shalom

Mexican food in So Cal is awesome. But Tex-Mex in Texas combines Mexican food with smoked goodness found in smoked meats in Texas. When it comes to authentic Mexican food in Texas v Tex-Mex, I'll pick Tex-Mex everytime. But in SoCal, it's a tough choice!
