How exciting! My husband and I are celebrating our 10year wedding anniversary next year. I loved my wedding day, it was exactly as we'd imagined and I felt so beautiful in my dress. It's such a good idea to have a videographer! I tell everyone to do this. We only had photography and as the years are going by, the memories of the day are fading and I would love to have a video from the day. 🌷

I got engaged January 2022 and was married the same year October. It was all because our venue we loved only had availability for that year so we thought let’s do it! It was stressful but I wouldn’t change a thing and we’re about to celebrate our first anniversary visiting New Zealand next week ☺️ Trust me when I say when your wedding day comes for you it’ll be such a weight of relief when it’s over you’ll be glad 😂

I got married on October 15th last year. I remember this to do list panic well. Everything will come together in the end :) My tip would be to not stess over the small things even if they feel very important. People remember the food, the music, the people, small bits of the venue and the atmosphere. I highly reccomend that you and Doug schedule 15 mins alone to have a drink break, take in the fact that you got married and prepare for the reception because it can be very overwhelming so having that small allocated time can make such a difference. It really helped me. I hope you have a magical wedding and can't wait to see the rest of the vlogs. :)

Even 'small' weddings take a crazy amount of planning. My friend had a budget wedding with only the basics and I offered to help her organise and....OMG....after that never again. Being a wedding supplier myself, in the nicest possible way, please communicate with your venue/suppliers about timings and extra details etc, it so that we can make your day as least stressful for you as possible. Even if you don’t know timings etc, just a rough idea will do!! 🙏🏻

I did a huge master list on my phone and shared it with my hubs, so he could check what we had done too, prompt me! I also wrote jobs on a big A3 printed calendar so that I could cross them off and not get too overwhelmed. Ask for help if you can, it’s not a feat if you can’t do it all yourself xxx
