I'm so happy I came across your video. I to am a Long Island bride. I have not seen an admin fee under 20%, now I'm keeping an eye out. I watched your video to see how you did your venue shopping. I am sending inquiries to venues that I like. Then I review pricing when provided and book appointments based on budget compatibility. I don't want carpet in my reception space, so that's another factor. Lol. My fiance and I have toured 6 venues. Two at the top range of our budget, 2 at the mid range and 2 at the lower end. We actually like 5 of the 6 so the decision is hard. The 6th venue treated us as if we were customers at the DMV sooo, that one is out. We're enjoying the process thus far. Hi Tina! CONGRATS!! & Thanks so much for all of this info...super helpful. I've been struggling to find a venue in NY for a reasonable price and I'm trying to plan my wedding within the next 9 months. I've gone through about 15-20 venues myself lol it's not easy! Especially when you're kind of in a rush to start planning. Do you mind telling us what the name of the second venue is? I tried to message you on Instagram so that it would be private but I had some trouble finding your profile. So here I am lol but please let me know where this is...I would truly truly appreciate it!
