Rhonda is such a delightful person, I just can't believe how her Maid of Honor dissed her after a lifetime of being best friends. I think Rhonda and Ray used their three wishes wisely and ended up with their dream wedding plus bonuses they hadn't anticipated. I hope their years together are long and wonderful! They make a lovely couple! And thanks, Jane - once again you made dreams come true.

Rhonda has an incredible figure and a model's height. She's beautiful. She is beautiful inside and out. Rhonda is so good at putting others first I bet the "best friend " kept her around to boost her own ego. THEN...Rhonda had the audacity to attract a handsome guy who wanted to marry her. Suddenly the "best friend " is missing. Rhonda was her friend, she was never Rhonda's friend.

Pity about the maid of honour. There was nothing honourable about her. She never deserved that role in the first place. I can only imagine she must have been very jealous of Rhonda. Friends don’t treat each other like this. It is such a privilege to be part of the bridal party - especially the Maid of Honour. Regardless of the reason, unless the MoH was in hospital or dead, she should have been there, or, at the very least, had the decency to let the bride know she was ok but didn’t want to be part of the wedding. That is one friendship that has been ruined forever - such a shame 😣😥.

Usually when your lifelong best friend takes a powder on your wedding, it's because they do not think you should be getting married to the groom. I do not know what I would do if that's the case and I was the bridesmaid. I would probably be in the wedding and support my friend anyway. UNLESS, the groom hit on me and that was the reason this maid of honor is a no show.

You don't accept a position like that and then disappear off the face of the earth. Obviously she must have known how Rhonda would stress more and more as the wedding got closer. My maid of honor did nothing except show up for the wedding. She didn’t even sign as a witness and neither did my husband’s brother, the best man. My FIL is a pastor and married us so when he gave it to us unsigned, we asked for our neighbors who attended to sign it so we could get it registered rather than driving across town as well as out of town. If they didn’t want to be bothered to do that, we weren’t going to make the effort. My brother in law didn’t even give a speech which my husband had asked them to, so both did absolutely nothing beforehand and just showed up, probably for the free food and drink.

The maid of honor was probably jealous she was getting married and found someone. Rhonda probably did everything she wanted and she CHANGED when she became a couple. The same thing happened with members of my family when I married my husband.

I watched the start of this and really feel like this pair, however sweet, are airheads. The organisational skills of a basket of puppies. Either the 'best friend' is a nasty psychopath, or groom-to-be has made a pass or worse, which doesn't seem likely. I really don't understand why they don't have a quiet, small wedding, invite the original guests in batches, to celebrate. And adult up and realise the best friend is toxic and has to go. It's like watching people with the mental acuity of a roomba vacuum react to a tsunami.

Are you jealous or something? What else would make you say such things about this couple. Airheads? In what way? And even suggesting the possibility that the groom "has made a pass or worse" is disgusting. There is nothing to even base a nonsense statement like that on. As for having a quiet small wedding and "invite the guests in batches" - exactly what does THAT mean? Some guests come from 1:00-3:00; another group at 3:00-5:00, etc. all evening? What kind of craziness is that? A drop-in wedding? An open-house wedding? Everyone is invited to celebrate together - that's the purpose of a wedding with invited guests. I don't think it's the bride and groom who have the mental acuity of a roomba vacuum here.
