biggest question: How do you handle the copyrights. Because if I would try this and mix in a populair song it will yeeet my video immediatly

I love how Phil is unapologetically human. The fact that he has written notes sitting atop his mixer is priceless to me.

£1,000s of KZbin marketing training in under 15 mins! Plus some really useful DJ skills! Great stuff, thanks Phil 😃

A more in depth view of acquiring acapellas and tracks would be so helpful. I find Beatport very difficult to navigate. All of the top 100 of each genre are tracks made in the last 2 months, and while that has some value, identifying and locating some of the club classics and ageless bangers to add to the sets would be amazing

Beautifully observed and broken down. Your research is impeccable as always and the pearls of wisdom shared here are priceless. It shows the amount of preparation that you Emily are putting into your performances. Practice and preparation is everything. BTW loving your intermediate DJ lessons awesome info. Looking forward to The next " What DJ's actually Do " follow along mix with you both.

One thing that watching DJ tutorials on KZbin has thought me is that just because you're a DJ it doesn't mean you play anything close to what others do. I for example would never play popular music/charts or scratch like a hiphop DJ, and when you're working with vinyl (not DVS) you are very limited in the effects you can use for transitions and solving mistakes takes a lot of skill. Good to see this still, even though it has no bearing on what I actually want to do.

As always your vids are great. So interesting about how KZbin works and your methodology to get views. The mix you refer to is absolutely amazing. 👍👍🔥🔥👏👏

Phil I like your ways of how you lay it out for us to watch it, and this is the reason I consider you as the best on KZbin. I still don't know how to delete Cue point at the start of a track and Rekordbox doesn't tell you. I am a beginner I bought a DDJ100 became obsolete I upgrade to FLEX10 wait for 10mth so I bought flex 4 in the meantime now has F10 do you think I should drop the F4 and go straight to the FLEX10

Yooo, much appreciated! Given I’m trying to get into DJaying , these are things I’ll need to know. Especially since I will need to get on many platforms to get known . Oh, and I seen what you did. “Stay to the end to get the Links to these songs”..... Lol brilliantly played
