My oldest son and his newlywed got married last month. They wanted the memory of their wedding in their backyard with only family .. then we moved to a 5 bed 3 bath AirBNB they had rented for the families for the reception, where their local friends joined us. It was fabulous, the food was from their favorite restaurant and amazing. the photos are beautiful and it was a blast!! They make well over $300k, but having gone to and been in about 20 weddings each all over and didn't want all the stress .. their practical side was they preferred to use the $$$ to buy more real estate 👍 Her dress was stunning, she had a 2nd dress for the after party, he had a custom made suit and shirt ... and the smiles on their face were pure love ❤ PS .. I wouldn't count the cost of his suit in their overall costs because he'll wear it for work and have a smile on his face when he does 💕

Good of you own a farm or know someone with a large property.l and have family willing to cater. Many people live in cities and their houses have small blocks or they are in a strata. Their parents may have even downsized. Venue costs are very expensive

This bride looks like she has 2 black eyes. She could remedy this issue by using concealer to brighten her under eye area. She could brighten & lift her whole face just by using the correct shade of concealer. Her smokey eyeshadow alone isn't doing her any justice.

Oh My God I totally thought the same thing, I purposely do NOT put eyeshadow underneath my eyes all because of this !! Under the eye needs a concealer especially if you have a tendency to have dark circles under your eyes, I definitely wouldn't add to them that's for sure!! I hope she has started doing her make up differently after watching this show!!!

My dress I bought at a consignment shop for $75.00 the veil was $20 it had a halo of flowers and was nice. When I plan my second wedding I want a better veil and not going consignment shopping. First husband wanted a cheap wedding on a budget we only spent $5000.00 he already had a tux and shoes. It was outside and food was 500.00 he wanted a keg of beer, and we had to get a cater and wine/ champagne for the toast. The DJ was $100 and I bought 2 Gardenias as the centerpieces down the isle at steps to alter. I bought serving stuff at Dollar Tree. Butyou can order party supplies through Oriental Trading Co and it helps. But I might want someone else to decorate. And this time having his sister as a matron of honor. I was suppose to have 1 sister as a matron / bridesmaid And another as a bridesmaid so actually had 2 which made it look nasty when I had his 2 brothers and his son

The dance, the dance troup, and Rory & Rebecca's dancing were all outstanding. I didn't think I was going to take to this quirky themed wedding, but everyone did an outstanding job of it. My only regret is we didn"t get to meet the mother who made the traditional Jamaican black cake, and have her tell us all about it, like what it tastes like, what sort of ingredients went into it, and something about the history behind it. I think this would have been very interesting. Congratulations to this couple (and the wedding planner). This wedding was awesome. 😃

I am so stressed by her spending that I started laughing. And then I had to go get crackers🥺 for the nausea 🤢. What is the matter with her? It seems like suddenly she lost it and thought she had won the lottery. They should have stopped, made appointment with a counselor to regroup. The fiance initially was staying on budget, had control, etc., suddenly she has him buying Halloween cakes etc. She's then buying two dresses, hiring Halloween dancers, wanting to buy Halloween costumes. I'm laughing, but I'm so stressed with her out of control spending - SMH. I just think alot of that money could have been saved and they could have taken a nice vacation on their 7th anniversary or for a rainy day.

This is a darling couple and I wish them the very best. Not to be critical but the majority of brides in this series spend money like it was water which is beyond me especially given that none of them have high paying jobs. I don't think the grasp the fact that 75% of their budget will be spent on food, bar, venue, photographer. Fortunately they are not demanding made to order courtier gowns which run into the thousands. But they all seem to obsess over centerpieces and cakes. Yes they enjoyed their day but at the end the majority are way over budget by a staggering amount. If it were me I would be doing research to determine the cost of the big ticket items so they can set a realistic budget and then save towards that budget if they want an extravagant wedding. For me I think I would rather have a small intimate wedding followed by a dinner at a nice restaurant. I would rather spend the money on the honeymoon or down payment on a house.

But, I will say that I've been binging this series and there are a LOT worse brides AND grooms than her.
