Have had my 25' x 45' Wedge-Loc garden fence up for 6 years now. It's a 100% metal 5' woven wire horse fence with metal T-posts using Wedge-Loc system (no wood posts or cement). Used turnbuckles and Wedge-Loc on the diagonal corners to hold the diagonal t-post braces together. Used Wedge-Loc's T-post gate hinges with butterfly latches for the metal gates attached directly to t-posts. The entire metal Wedge-Loc t-post garden fence and gate system is still like new. My soil is rock and clay (like cement during the summer with temps over 100 degrees and no rain). There has been no movement on the fence with the Wedge-Loc system, even during rain and snow season...it is rock solid. Neighbors wood/cement fences are heaving and rotting in the clay/rock soil and hot/freezing/dry/wet extreme weather conditions we have in our area. I will be installing a perimeter fence (around my entire property), within the next few months, using the Wedge-Loc system with t-posts, woven wire fencing and metal gates (no wood or cement).

Seems like the people having problems with the Wedge-Loc system here are not installing the corners properly so the corners come loose. You definitely want to use turnbuckles on the corners to keep them tight, just like you would with a wood post fence (and use a come-a-long to pull the fence tight...but not too tight, before you install the t-post clips). 6 years and my Wedge-Loc t-post fence system corners are still rock solid. The Wedge-Loc system has saved me from digging post holes in rock and hard clay, using and paying for cement, moving and paying for expensive heavy wood posts, removing heavy cement from old post holes and paying for an expensive fence/gate install by high priced so-called professional fence installers. The Wedge-Loc system enabled me to install the entire fence/gate system all by myself, which saved me tons of time and money.

We've used them on several corners for field fencing and never had problems. Sure looks neater along the drive than the locust posts we use elsewhere.

Have used this with sheep - not so hefty as cattle - works great. Elder, and had the far corner by the road with wood-corner collapse, couldn't wait till kids could drive long-distance to help repair the corner - sheep'd be in the road by then. This helped me redo that corner all by myself! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Interesting product. I notice that it only works when you push on the vertical post. Pull, and the diagonal post falls out.

What this video FAILS TO MENTION, but is imperative to proper use, is that the collars are NOT SQUARE. They will only wedge while on the T-Post in *one particular direction*. This information is NOWHERE on the packaging or in this video. When the locks wouldn't fit in any of the 3 collars we purchased, we had to pack up our fencing materials and try to figure out what was wrong. The Wedgeloc website at least, points out that it will only fit in one direction, so hopefully they will work as promised when I try again. This information needs to be explicitly stated however, considering it's the only way to get the product to work!! I honestly don't understand why a business who wants you to purchase, use, and presumably purchase more of their products, wouldn't give you the MAIN piece of info necessary to make these braces work.

Used These Wedge Locks on a 6 inch corner post and locked into T_post. Worked wonderful. Saved a lot of time and money by not having to buy more 6 inch post and braces. Plus not having to dig holes. With my PHD. For you city folks My PHD is POST HOLE DIGGER.

Hello, i am new to fencing, and going to start with a few goats. I have watched many videos and like your product. My question is how do you secure the wire to the corner post. Second is it possible to continue the wire around the corner ? Thank you look forward to your respond.

I believe you wrap alternating one side to the other, to prevent twisting. I think it would be fine to wrap a corner instead of tying off to it.

Just fine for chickens but be sure to use a stinging-hot electric wire with it for anything bigger. If you fence a dog who wants to dig, line along the bottom strand with concrete pavers all along the inside. He'll trim his own front toenails trying to dig thru concrete.

How do you lock the upper brace? You show it for the lower, how to lock the wedge into the collar. I've done the same for the upper but how do I lock the 60 degree socket into the collar? The weight of the t post brace pulls it down and out.

You can use turnbuckles along the diagonal posts (from the corner vertical post to the second vertical post in the diagonal brace) to tighten the diagonal brace.

This product is not very strong and is made from pretty soft aluminium. I used this product on 7 electric fence corners and 6 have failed so far and at $16 dollars a corner it was not a very cheap lesson. Save yourself some money and do it right the first time unlike i did.

+s floyd I held one in my hand and thought it was aluminum, but then assured myself that no one would be dumb enough to make them out of anything but steel. Guess I was wrong.

If you use turnbuckles on the diagonals the diagonal braces will be held together tightly without putting undo stress on the Wedge-Loc system. 6 years and my fence corners are still rock solid.
