Your designs are so clever and attractive in different ways. Often, I find that it’s a little difficult to keep the modules attached during assembly, but at the end, the last piece locks the whole thing together and the structure becomes strong. However, with some of your designs, as was the case with this model, I work very hard to improve my folding technique, I try various different papers, and whatever I do, the modules will not stay together without glue. I hate using glue, so, eventually, I used a very small stapler. I thought that if I attached a few at the beginning, the rest would stay together. But every single module sprang apart, even the very last one. I watched you fold and assemble this in your video and I carefully followed what you did, tucking the flaps always the same way. I don’t know what I did wrong. If you have any advice, I’d be grateful.

I sometimes have this problem too. I solve problem along the way such as "5 before 3 or 3 before 5?", "lay it on table and softly add more unit", "let's use marking tape!", "let's add in different angle view", "it begin to fall apart, let's fix it before add new". If I cannot solve it for a while, I give up and use glue. I don't know how to solve this exactly. Maybe it is a puzzle to solve for origami folder.

@@PrwOrigami Thanks. That makes me feel better. 😅 It actually doesn’t look too bad with staples. I’ll post some pics on instagram and tag you.
My first try hit the trash about half way through. Paper had a sheen and was not good for this model. Could not assemble without glue. I finished my second attempt, using a paper that had more of a "matte" finish. The finished model has a "bouncy" feel to it due to the center being open. My second attempt was OK, but not 100 percent happy with it.
