When you think about it, has there been a more passionate and loving couple than Gomez and Morticia? I can't! It comes through in every version of The Addams Family. This episode illustrates what a strong, FUNCTIONAL, family they really are!

This episode helped with solving one mystery but opened up more. The Gates family did the sister really died? She’s the only one without a body to find. What’s Bianca’s story and will we see Xavier’s father and learn more about him? If Morticia gets visions what are Gomez’s powers? I loved that Morticia and Wednesday got to solve the crime together and seeing them taking the Mayor down was awesome!! And go Enid I was kind of hoping the dad would speak up but having him not allowed Enid to speak up and hopefully her mom got it in her noggin that Enid’s wolf will or won’t come out.

The reason why Enid's Dad never said anything to his wife, is because they are wolves and in a pack of wolves there is different levels. On the top you have the Alpha next is the Luna followed by the Beta then last one is the Omega. Enid's mom is the Beta and her Dad is the Omega. Omega have to do and go along with anyone that is above them.

I kinda think the conversion camp thing was a bit of a mis-step . It doesn't seem like her not being able to "wolf out" is a choice. Like theres no camp to force puberty on people so trying to relate this to the camps they actually had in the real world to "convert" or "correct" gay people back to be "normal" Which I am not sure is even a thing anymore so trying to insert a political issue like that in this way seemed a bit forced and disingenuous. Though I could be wrong

I don't think there was any malice involved, it's just a heavy-handed metaphor. You're right in that it doesn't quite work, but the average normie isn't going to question it.
