Enid's dad looks like the kind of man/wolf that keeps his feelings to himself most of the time but when he wolves out I am sure he is extremely powerful and he knows it.

Wednesday really changed in a short time : she really cares for Eugene and Enid, made a compliment to her dad and grows closer to her mother, the latter being arguably her biggest weakness as it sometimes clouded her judgment

She truly did!! We got to see other facets of her which is such a joy to watch! It was also great to see the relationships between all the members of the family, showing us more of what they are like with eachother. Such a wonderful episode!

Catherine is always a treat and she’s great as Morticia but I have to say I love Luis as Gomez. He has some of the subtlest funny moments and he just exudes such warmth when interacting with his kids. Genuinely a delight. So I’m very torn on Enid’s dad. Like, he seems like such a gentle soul, and a man of few words, but it is such a pet peeve of mine when one parent just lets the other treat their kid so horribly and then at the end we’re just to be like “aw, he said one encouraging thing. Best dad.” It’s like… thanks for doing less than the bare minimum I guess? It works in something like Turning Red because the dad does try to say something throughout the film and then comes in with such a good scene… it’s not perfect but it’s something. The way Weems moved after Wednesday threatened to go to the sheriff is menacing as hell. Like, this woman has such control over the vibes she sends. I was like “oh shit.”

Yeesss, to all of the above!! We have such a great cast and everyone is bringing their a-game! As for Enid's dad, you definitely are right. He could and certainly should do more to stand up for his daughter, simply offering a few words of affirmation after her having to endure her mother's frankly repulsive behavior, does not quite cut it.

this was a fun episode for me to watch, just seeing the family loving the dark stuff the series mentions, wish we could see more of the family, Lurch has potential, hearing about Bianca's backstory has me rooting more for her, love the idea that Eugene has two mum's and no one bats an eyelid about it

Absolutely loved the family dynamic! It was such a nice surprise. Learning Bianca's backstory in this episode and the previous one really added layers that were needed. She instantly became one of our favorite characters! Rooting for her!

I think the principal is the monster. She’s a shape shifter. Also, the big thing that leads me here is; SHE KNOWS ABOUT ROWAN TRYING TO KILL WEDNESDAY IN THE FOREST WHEN SHE WASN’T EVEN THERE! Does nobody else have questions about this fact. Also, now watching this again right after watching on Netflix; how did she know Rowan tried to force the gargoyle the first time?

Fair representation is one thing, but that's not what we are seeing. LGBTQ is ABSOLUTELY over represented, and woke agendas are forced into everything. When it adds nothing to a story and is largely irrelevant, its clearly done to force opinions on viewers. The fact that people notice it isn't a reflection on them being sensitive lol. It shows how much it stands out like a sore thumb, and that's because it is out of place. If the majority of people notice these agendas and disapprove, then it is indeed out of place. Its not about any dislike of the people they are trying to represent, its about the insult to our intelligence in polluting every damn thing with some political agenda or other. Nobody cares about what other people get up to and who with! And we don't HAVE to care. Stop trying to MAKE us care by ramming it down our throats! If a certain lifestyle is acceptable to you, then good for you! You don't need EVERYONE'S acceptance, and you don't need EVERYONE to even be aware of it. People just want to watch a show and be entertained, not indoctrinated with tiresome DEI initiatives
