I love this episode because it really shows how much she cares about Enid and Tyler. The only two people she wanted to spend her birthday with, the guy she likes and her best friend in an abandoned house of a family who are all dead and somehow related to a series of murders.

Actually, in the Sleepy Hollow movie, he's a Hessian, not a Haitian. Hessians were renowned professional German soldiers brought over to America to fight for the British. Often referred to as mercenaries, they were technically auxiliaries because they were sent by their native government who was paid for their military help. A mercenary is typically someone who goes to fight for another nation on their own accord. I definitely understand the confusion though.

As a viewer you expect that Wednesday will probably be a girl who is boycotted and scolded at school but not everyone just really really likes her and I love that! Because I really like Wednesday. If it's so popular for viewers of the series, then it makes sense that the people who know it will really adore it too.
