Ian visited the home of 73-year-old Lutchmipersad Sookram of Piparo Road, Manuel Junction, Tabaquite who was killed during a suspected home invasion on Tuesday 23rd July 2024, and spoke to relatives about his tragic death.
An autopsy revealed that 21-year-old Vikash Jonas died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head.
Initial reports were that Jonas fell and hit his head while fishing for a conch with friends at the Charuma River off Charuma Road, Biche on Saturday 20th July, 2024.
35-year-old Prince Ralph Maingot, a laborer of Delhi Road, Fyzabad was gunned down outside his home on Wednesday 24th July, 2024.
A man identified as Eyon Murray was found shot to death at a landfill near his home along Dump Road in Arima on Wednesday 24th July, 2024.
75-year-old Levi Richards of Poinsettia Drive, Coconut Drive, Morvant was murdered by his grandson and two other men who then placed him in a shallow grave at his home on Tuesday 23rd July, 2024.
Ian spoke to Aaliyah Raquel Benoit, the wife of 22-year-old Jahmarley Goddard of Bagatelle Road, Diego Martin who was gunned down alongside 24-year-old Dave Lyons, a coast guard officer of Alley Drive, Sea Trace, Diego Martin, and 35-year-old Earl Peters of Corner Savannah Road and Diego Martin Main Road outside Rituals coffee house and Pizza boys in Cunupia on Sunday 14th July, 2024.
