I just love how they made her human. She's always been a caricature (literally in fact...the Addams family started as a cartoon). Jenna's portrayal made her more real than any of the others before her IMO. Creatively that forces some tough decisions that not everyone will like. But I love that they had the courage to take that risk. Getting to see her on a deeper, more personal level was something we needed and I think they crushed it.
