Well, they need new chairman, teacher and psycholog, so maybe some Addams could get into school. Our little hide boyfriend seems to me pretty mess up in head. He was probably originally just Tayler we knows (+-), but his Hide side started to affect his human personality and he is currently without master (I think) so there could be plot about who will be/is his new master. Don't see problem with Wednesday tor- curing him again and she having master slave relationship with (ex) boyfriend is so much like her. Xavier could be master too, there is that still not explained connection between him and hide, so he could be hide too or be his half brother (or both). It would explain, why was his father missing from parents day etc. New treats could come from outcast community. Some normies were trying to kill their children and one died (+other victims) so some radical payback group could exist and take actions. (It would be funny, if Wednesday chose to do:enemy of my enemy thing and release L. Gates, if she is still alive or something like that, maybe use her as bait). We didn't see much of Vampires in show, even if they are one of 4 biggest group, so maybe them. Show could take little ideology and political turn (could go bad or good) Pretty sure there will be strong Wednesday love life subplot, so who you think could be best? Xavier is currently best bet, but I can't imagine him with her (long-term) he doesn't seem to have enough unique/tolerant character, but maybe we will see some new sides of him next season. Tayler secret serial killer identity could be something he and Wednesday could bound over, studying (him), telling dark twisted fantasies (both) end experimentation (on him). Last contestant is more like friend without real chance, but it isn't 0%, so. (+ he remains me her dad, so)

@@donpula6349 I didn't count Mayor, because I thought about him as simply city problem that isn't important to Nevermore, but you are right. This is pretty important position that could have whole storyline around it. There could be someone new and inexperience that is learning about working of city and nevermore, there could be sheriff at new job (popular option in Tv), there could be outsiders hater (probably not hidden and murderous, more like someone who will makes things for students hard), it could be outsider or/and Addams. At same tone, could we think about psychologist (thought hidden hater would be more probable that open). Think about it, this town lost two most important people who keep it working and invested money into it, so city falling apart could be plot too. At same time, could be reason, why some outsider (not necessarily supernatural) get job of mayor, because he brings money.

The new Wednesday series is beyond sophisticated. Jenna Ortega seems to have gone out of her comfort zone to portray a character like this. I’m certain Season 2 will be just as great.

The most intriguing setup for me is her psychic power. Season 1 basically said she'd go insane if Goody didn't teach her how to control it, and now no more Goody. Also, Jenna spent so much time on fencing and cello that we need a whoooole lot more of that. And i don't know what kept Burton from directing all the episodes, but we need him - it noticeably dipped in flair when he left

I think the main antagonist of season 2 would be the Sirens like Bianca’s mother because they wouldn’t just give Bianca more of a story with her dealing with her mother for no reason. Just a theory

Nawh bianca alr cleared things up w her mother. Although it doesn't rule out the possibility that the sirens might be a small part of s2. Perhaps they'll appear in 1 or 2 episodes to provide information on whatever crime Wednesday will solve, since they've got good network branches after all

I don’t think Thornhill is dead, we saw her get a boot to the face and that’s it. When Crackstone came back to life Thornhill looked at his ring and gasped, not him. The camera also showed the ring fall to the ground when he died. This ring means something.

I was waiting for this show and it did not disappoint me. In season two I would love to see more of the Addams family cameos like grandma or cousin it. They also have a great way to bring in some new characters like the new Principal of Nevermore Academy. How will it be? Will it be someone worse or better then Weems? Also mentions of Xavier's father but not a pic of him. I would like to see him even once for a few min. A cameo appearance will do me justice really.

There likely won’t be. The only way Netflix will renew the show for a new season is if it makes enough revenue. Wouldn’t get your hopes up if I were you. You may be disappointed immensely.

I feel we'll see more of Xavier and Wednesday in S2. It felt like most of their 'connection' was based on their past encounters when he saved her! So i'm interested in seeing what they will do two make them as compatible as what her and Tyler were

Actually none in the love triangle had chemistry, the guys were bland and omg Tyler's "you gave me signals", when she gave nothing and like Wednesday just did things with them to solve the mystery and to owe them back because of things they helped her with. Jenna Ortega also said that Wednesday wasn't interested in anyone this season, and it fits more with her charachter to not be interested in any of them, or go in an odd unexpected relationship, like with Enid, but could be Tyler too cuz he manipulated her and she might admire that but yeah I think it fits her most to not be interested in anyone, and just focus on mysteries and outsmarting the villains, and i hope she will leave Nevermore a bit in season 2 and maybe help Bianca and hopefully it's a mystery there.

Wednesday and Tyler spent more time together because the plot called for it. It was to make Tyler’s reveal as the Hyde more dramatic and shocking. But you’re not wrong Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes White did have a serious lack of chemistry; I think this was because of the Wednesday x Tyler plotline having more screen time. We’ll definitely see more of Wednesday x Xavier in Season 2. But to be honest I was immediately disappointed when I saw these two potential lovers for Wednesday, I really wanted her not to have any romance in the show. At least not in the first season.

@@Ttw_iykyk exactly what I was thinking, it felt like that could have been from thornhill's manipulation. And people seem to forget redemption ark's frequently are given to characters that come from very dark places, it makes it more impactful/surprising. They could possibly want him to appear like he hasn't got the chance, or is about to go on another rampage (hinted in the last ep) and they want to leave the option of him redeeming himself, open. that's just my speculations. 😅

I saw a really good theory that it is Yoko, i dont really want to explain it all, but a brief summary: Yoko was never really seen talking to wednesday, always watching. She was friends with Enid which means she could get information, she was also in alot of official art even though she only had like 2 scenes and many other characters could have been in that spot. Could mean shes always watching

I Know everyone ships Enid with her but i honestly think that Enid Deserves to stay with her Crush, Although i love WLW relationships. Tyler was honestly such a good match for wednesday in the series and i really hope theres redemption for him, as technically he WAS munipulated to believe that the killing was good and stuff. And also more development on Tylers father.

I think Xavier's dad might have a relevant role in season 2. He is mention way too much. It's curious how he doesn't find his visions reliable, because they are supposedly triggered by emotions, yet Xavier’s and Wednesdays visions have been pretty accurate until know. Xavier even got to see things way before Wednesday did. There’s definitely so much digging to do in 'Xavier’s character.

Actually if the owner of a Hyde, (Thornhill) dies, the control of the Hyde (Tyler) also dies, so Tyler would be free from the control of Thornhill (Laurel)

My longshot guess.... Weems isn't out of it yet. Either she has a sister, or somehow survived and faked her death. She was always teetering between enemy and friend and it wouldn't take much to push her over the edge... plus she's an amazing actor.

Her death is the only one where there was not fatal injury. Like everyone else got chewed up or stabbed or clawed. Plus its implied the garden lady was using the nightshade to trigger tylers hyde- So why would she be making a lethal injection? Unless she was planning on killing Tyler it makes no sense for that injection to be deadly (esspecialy for a woman much bigger than tyler)

1. Who even knows if shapeshifters have biochemistry similar to humans? She might have just been paralyzed and comatose for a while, like Superman in the DC movies. 2. Seeing that we've already had two dead people resurrected in S1 (Crackstone and Wednesday), another resurrection is certainly not out of the picture. Death means nothing in a world filled with witchcraft, undead, and monsters with unknown powers.

THEORY: Wednesday's stalker is no other than Rowan. Yeah I know that he was "killed" by Hyde Tyler... but the thing is... Didn't Laurel Gates said and even proved that raising the dead is possible?... And didn't Rowan just "disappear" and was just presumed dead after the attack because no body was found?... And who else in the series, other than Laurel and Crackstone, wanted Wednesday dead? Rowan did... I think that after Tyler attacked him, Laurel somehow managed to take his body and resurrect him to test if the process would work on Crackstone... Because I just think that maybe Laurel and Rowan's mother knew each other and conspired with each other in the past hence Rowan's mother telling Rowan to kill "the girl who would destroy the school" when she arrives... And after he was resurrected, Laurel instructed him to go and live undercover and, most of all, to not lose sight on Wednesday... And after Xavier gave Wednesday a new phone, Rowan used his telekinesis to hack into Wednesday's phone to send her photos of her with Tyler and with Xavier and the gif showing Wednesday being thrown at with a knife and killing her... Or maybe he could have done this before Xavier could give it to Wednesday because he could've sneaked into Xavier's room since they were former roommates and he would know where Xavier puts his things and messed with the phone with telekinesis... If this theory is true, then Rowan will come back in the future of the series for a much bigger role... So this is just a theory.... If you read this then feel free to agree or disagree...

Some loose ends still exist which may be part of Season 2. 1)Tyler's mother. Where is she and did she die?(a 2nd Hyde?) 2) The siren/mermaid people were defeated by netting an unamed mer man. He, or that group could want revenge. 3) Rowan, the telekinesis kid, was murdered because of Wednesday. His parents or family may want revenge. 4) Pilgrims are still angry at Wednesday. Are Witch trials reinstated? 5) The old man killed by the Hyde at Gate's place. Who was he? 6) Need more Lurch, Pugsly, and Cousin It.

They said Tyler's mum is dead. If you're referring to the merman/siren they netted in the Poe Cup, it seems he was always there as a background character. He was part of Bianca's group and I think he was in the Nightshades too so I doubt he had any grudges. Rowan's mother was already dead and his dad agreed with Weems to cover it up so as to not ruin the school's reputation as well as Rowan's.

Or, did you notice the cut back to Tyler immediately after the Hyde attacked Eugene? Maybe you didn't watch that episode? And doubt all you want, how is the Normal teacher (Christina Ricci) so conveniently related to a 4-500 year old Pilgrim dead guy?

@@garycharboneau4219 I really don't know what you saw, but we see the dance, the 'Pilgrims' spraying the red paint. Wednesday then gets a premonition that Eugene is in danger ( he's not actually in danger at that point), she runs off, Tyler then runs off after wondering where Wednesday is. It then cuts back to the woods, Eugene is still in the same position he was the last we saw him (behind the tree), Wednesday is running through the woods (so we can presume that the Hyde is also at this point moving through the woods), we hear the Hyde, Eugene runs, Wednesday is closing in, the Hyde attacks, Wednesday finds Eugene, 'Normal teacher arrives on scene, episode ends. So what about means Tyler can't be the only Hyde?? It all fits. As for 'Normal teacher' conveniently being a descendant of 500 year old 'Pilgrim dead guy'... I don't get your point. In what way is it convenient?? In what way is it not possible or probable for her to be descended from 'Pilgrim dead guy'??

@@BrainPilot i really really hope they go with enid. if nothing else, it seems (to me) as though enid has at least a crush on wednesday and i really hope they explore that in s2. imo, wednesday has always been at best dismissive and at worst downright cruel to boys in her portrayals. of course she was just a child, but i was the same way as a kid (i hated boys lol) and now i'm sooo gay.

November 2023 is a totally unrealistic release date for S2; the show would need time to be written after being greenlit for another season, then months of pre-production, at least 6 months of principal photography (S1 took roughly 7) & then at least 6 months of post production... So that's 2024 at the earliest.

I hate modern remakes. Especially modern remakes that drop everything to spread The Message like ROP. I didn't hold that much hope for this one, having seen Addams from the 1970's plus. However, colour me surprised. I really enjoyed this series and, for the first time in ages, actually watched the whole first series in a binge. Bravo. That's a bloody high marker right there.

Pretty simple here, swap gomez out for antonio bandaras. This gomez ain't cutting it as there's no chemistry between him and zeta jones. Bandaras already has chemistry with zeta, he can dance, and he can be cheeky which is everything thats needed for gomez. Other than that i think the show was pretty good.

Loved Jenna's portrayal and I'm so excited to see what she does in season 2 however, I think morticia and Gomez were terribly miscast. Gomez is sexy with a certain swagger and bravado this man has non of that and Catherine does not have Morticias magic or presence and there is no chemistry between them. I hope they recast them if they are going to play a role in season 2. I also thought the typical teenage daughter, mother dynamic is kinda cliché for the Addams family

I’m putting all my wishes/thoughts/high hopes that MORTICIA becomes the DEAN of the Academy. Now that her “arch nemesis” is has been taken out (too soon) unless she is hard to kill and comes back then I’ll be ok. But I’d like NOT to see a new person in that spot UNLESS it’s MORTICIA. She’s a Dove.. was Captain and President of all the clubs, Catherine Zeta Jones, and is just part of the history in that school/town/story. Imma need to see more of her and the family too. Gomez is perfect and funny. And very Latin. I love that they incorporated a lot of that flavor. Muy bien
