This robotic construction uses both the tilt sensor and the distance sensor to produce piano sounds. The idea behind it is as follows: when the human finger presses down the upper hinged level (which later returns to the level position with the help of the two red rubber bands, not shown here as they are suspended at the back), the tilt sensor which is located just under the upper level, changes value from 0 to 2. This change of value triggers in turn the measurement of the distance sensor from the now lowered human finger, and with the help of a simple mathematical formula based on this value, it finally produces the sound of a piano note.
