You could say it's a "special sending stone" that can traverse planes of existence, but then it would be a national treasure worth over 100 million gold, at the very least. Communication between realms of existence is difficult for even the most advanced magicians.

That devil helping/hindering Tronald really starts to look like the Nameless One from Tormernt 🤔 Anyway, great episode, although I would have definitely not tried to sleep in Rattlebone house. That said, Raarh should also add "master lockpicker" to his ever-growing list of titles and honorifics! Some more Batman references would also be nice :P P.S.: for a moment I thought the devil was Asmodeus himself; I can't see his grandson owning both Orcus and Vecna at once, but we shall see.

The contemplation of Tronald’s forgiveness of Lunaria at the start of the episode was a beautiful moment - a reflection of a bit of the character of Jesus, with his forgiveness of those who condemn and tortured him, as well as his sacrifice - when we see it in story form as with this series, it resonates with the soul.
