I absolutely love seeing this and hearing these stories! When Jan and Lance come together in any form, it makes for a good day and some great stories. I don't care what anyone says, their era was THE most fun era in cycling, hands down! What a time to be a fan

2003 Luz Ardiden, Jan and others waited after Lance got upended by someone's baggy. Epic stage, great era, great rivalry. Jan was fantastic.

@@TwentyTwenty90 Ullrich did not wait because of Hamilton. Anyone would have waited. It’s neither on Hamilton nor on Ullrich. Sure, Hamilton might have said something, but had he not, they would have waited nonetheless. Armstrong thanking him makes no difference to that

Only the names change. From one era to the next they are all doped to the gills. Including today. 2024 is so dirty, that the UCi no longer even pursue the cheats, they just reap the benefits of wealth.
