Learn how to use a weed eater to cut tall grass. A Weed eater or weed wacker is more formally know as string trimmer which is how I refer to it in the video. I even mow down some bamboo and brush in the video. I also share my response to a previous commentor who insulted me over not using a guard on my string trimmer

After watching this rant, I subscribed to this channel. Fantastic :). P.S. It’s football in Europe and in The rest of the World :). In all seriousness, I have never used a string trimmer but lawn mower instead. However, grass in my Summer house has grown incredibly long and tomorrow will use the string trimmer for the first time. And videos from this channel have set my up for success I hope :). I have around 5000 square meters to trim, it will definitely be “fun”. Thanks for all the videos!

I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use kzbin.infoUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.

Thanks for the lesson in common sense. As a lawn care provider I think the main key of safety to any piece of equipment is understanding of the equipment. I also in many instances also dont use a guard, I find that when I dont The equipment is lighter and I m far more productive. Thanks for all that you do. I`ve enjoyed watching your videos, thanks. I end by saying this "wisdom is the principal thing, get wisdom but with all of your getting get understanding".🤔😎

Great video. I think you are save enough wearing long sleeves, long pants, ear plugs and safety glasses. Anyone can add to that but I think what you are using is enough. I cut grass commercially for 15 years and you get nicked every once in a while but I removed my guards so I could see what I was doing and longer trimmer line. I would like to see a video on your take of trimming shrubs and how you size them up and how much you trim off on an overgrown shrub and how often you do a maintain trim. Thanks for your opinions on lawn care. I think you do a great job showing the life style of a lawn care guy.
