Too fast. Keko was the only proper drummer for Weedeater. He had the sound, kept the songs dragging behind the beat and embodied sludge.

weedeater is a splendid band, but i just dont seem to get this "dixie hillbilly' stuff that always surrounding this kinda of bands, like thee intro .....man, what is cool about Hank williams 1 , 2 or, 3 ?, this thang i just dont get. maybe the song isnt of Hank but you get the point. for me anything that reeks like country stuff ,sucks in all ways, music of the white oppressor, for knuckleheads....nothing to be really proud about i would say....but one thing remains : Weedeater rules!

There is good doom metal and bad doom metal. There is the music The Obsessed play and there is music like these guys play. Just in the same way that the millennials dismiss 80s metal as "hair metal", the next generation will dismiss this music as "beard metal." 80s melodic metal and glam metal gets criticized for the high pitched vocals and the next generation will criticize this for the low pitched vocals. Still there's a big difference:; Those 80 bands with the high pitched vocals were singing melodies. This "singer' is basically singing the same note over and over. There is no melody in his vocals. if this vocalist started singing out of tune, do you think the audience would even notice? There's another big difference: The guys in those bands did drugs but they didn't let it get in the way of playing shows. If they had, they'd never have gotten as far as they did. The "singer" of this band actually is acting like he's on drugs. He looks like there's something wrong with him. There's another big difference: A lot of those bands like Dokken and Ratt had guitarists who could really play lead guitar. George Lynch and Warren DeMartini played solos that some people think are good and some don't but even the people who don't like their solos understand they aren't easy to play; not just anybody with a guitar can play them. This guitarist can't play lead guitar. There's one more big difference though: Bands like Ratt and Motley Crue made a ton of money. They were millionaires. They stayed at expensive hotels. These guys are probably sleeping on the floor of the house of somebody who came to see their show.
