Kidding season is approaching fast and we are gearing down for all the projects! We've got ideas for the barn, milking station, & goat nursery -- and Kevin can't wait to get started 😅

Hi there! 👋🏻 We live on a 1-acre farm right in the middle of the busy city of Phoenix, Arizona! Our names are Kevin & DaNelle, and we moved here in 2009, when our kids Ethan & Lydia were just 6 & 4 years old 🥰 Over the years we've raised goats for milk, chickens for eggs, built a fish/swim pond, planted fruit & nut trees, and grew a large garden full of veggies. We've also raised a bunch of other animals like pigs, sheep, turkeys, geese, peacocks, and more!
Now that our kids are away at college, we have settled into doing what we love most -- which is raising & breeding goats ethically to improve genetics. But don't worry, we'll forever love our goofy pet goats like Luna the herd queen & Willow the stump lover. We also still love raising chickens for eggs, gardening, tending to the fruit & nut trees, and growing fish in the pond. We use the fresh goat's milk to make cheese, butter, yogurt -- and we use that + everything else we harvest on our little farm to make delicious meals. Having a getaway from the busy world right in our backyard brings so much joy to us each day, and we hope it brings some to you, too. 🥰

I was waiting for Salem to join the "Queen of the Hill" challenge. I have such fun memories of my dogs, and my two goats, Simon and Garfunkel, playing King of the hill on the sand pile when my parents were building our house. That recipe looks fab!! I am sooo close to getting an air fryer!

Rubber flooring rolls are an excellent goat barn floor option. Often used as matting for barn aisles, they are easy to install without the use of adhesive, and they are durable while also economical. Plus they are easy to clean

Hey y’all, I’m really hoping you catch this sometime in the future. It would mean the world to me if y’all read it. My only (and older) sister passed in Jan 2021 and after that I’ve just been shut down. We loved watching your videos and then talking about them over the phone. Often times I’d come over so we could watch the new video while she worked on overcoming her ED and I was battling mental health so severe I could barely get out of bed every day. Watching y’al on those nights we had together was like dinner and a show. While everyone raved about game of thrones, we raved about whatever y’all had got up to. It was one thing we always knew we could look forward to even if we were at our lowest, if there were no new videos we’d binge old goat baby videos. We always joked about how, as witches with no green thumb outside of exotic flowers, we’d kill for a garden that nice 🤣 Keeping up was impossible after she passed. I wanted to save the videos for when I felt better, unfortunately it never really came. I’m glad to finally come back, she would be sad I’ve been so far behind. This might sound strange but on the days I miss her the most, I prop up my phone, sit with her mini urn, and rewatch some of our old favourites (btw she really admired your cooking and Kevin’s crafts). I hope one day I can convince her sons to watch a few of your videos with me, one can dream, right? Anyway, thanks for giving my passed sister and I something to bond over when she was still with us. It really means a lot to be able to come back now that I’ve started to heal. Hopefully I’ll catch up soon. ❤ so from the bottom of my heart, blessed be, and I hope y’all have a wonderful upcoming Yuletide (or Christmas)!

Don't forget storage areas in the milking station and the barn! You guys nearly dropping things down dark gaps and then trying to fish 'em out and you have scorpions scuttling about! I'm from/in the UK and it spooks me out when you see them randomly on screen. edit for spelling
