Cool gourgeist set for VGC2019: Pickup slave Get a reliable consume-item for gourgeist like electric seed Pair with a mon that has an item specific move like geomancy/freeze shock (power herb) or maybe overheat/draco meteor (white herb). Gourgeist (now itemless) will pick up the used item from the partner and can use trick to give it back to them. You can use this to spam freeze shock in trick room, or stack geomancies. Flesh it out with stuff like Destiny bond (nice to use it on the last turn of trick room if using that, gives you a good way of setting it up again), ally switch, any attacking moves etc.

Sugestion: In this strategy also it is possible to use Bestow instead of Trick, with the advantage that this works even if the target is under Protect. No one has ever seen this move working, it would be interesting.

@@smelliot95 I tested it in a battle yesterday against the most common of VGC 2019 (Kyogre, Xerneas and Furry Wrestler), worked with a Wabuffet (Colbur Berry) for switch control and Encore enemy Xerneas, in the mental game it inhibits the Origin Pulse and attracts Incineroar for the first turn. The Pickup was the Linoone with Bestow + Simple Beam, trait Careful, EV: full HP, 88 Def and 164 Sp.Def. The pokemon benefited was Xerneas that I could buff into +4 if the conditions are not so favorable, but I even managed to use Simple Beam and turn it in +6.
