I love this show. Skynet finally understands that war will always end with its destruction so to stay alive it realizes the only way is to find peace. This was the logical next step for the series instead of just new versions of skynet sending back more terminators to kill people in the past. It's a sin that this show was canceled before it could finish.

It was deemed "too cerebral" for American audiences. The prior time that excuse was used was in the decision not to purchase a pilot about a starship called "Enterprise"and a pilot episode called "The Cage."

As I recall, the series was dubbed as being "too cerebral." Funny, I recall another show that was nearly canceled due to the same reasoning. As I recall, it was called Star Trek.

What makes John Henry different from Skynet is the fact he's exposed to Savannah compared to Skynet that's only exposed to weapons and murder drones. He learned to value human life, whereas the other learned to take lives if it feels like it

I dont know who is his "brother" is, but Miles Dison's son went missing and suddenly Skynet (cyberdine systems) has a huge program as well and it uses the net to locate a rival one, takes over the program and at first is asking why there is another like it, let alone in a terminator. "What is this all about?" Then it scans John Henry's code and memories and realizes that another program is being built to fight it in the future. Skynet was planning a take over long b4 it became aware.

Skynet then uploaded itself into john henry and disabled him to investigate. This was the first moment skynet had ever encountered a terminator endoskeleton in this time line.

What I don't get about the finale. How did J.H know that the equiptment in the basement was able to travel to the future, and why and why with Camerons CPU? Did she transfer herself to the Turk machine or her CPU into the T-888 body? And why does no one know John with Derek alive, possibly alternate timeline? I understand that J.H was suppose to be an friendly Skynet version. So many questions they need answers to!

Probably he knows about time traveling because T1001 (Katherine weaver) told him or Cameron told him. The T1001 killed and copied Katherine Weaver with the objetive to create a AI with moral values to fight against Skynet (the "brother" JH mentions). When people or Terminators travel to the past and changes things the future changes so when John travel to the future Derek doesnt recognice him because he is the Jonh suposed to be leadering the resistance (in other words, he is the Jonh Connor of his timeline) (yeah is like what you said, the future changes, another timeline is created) Sorry for the bad english

This is not Skynet: In the future Skynet made a mistake in allowing terminators to learn out in the field. These terminators learned that the war is a mistake. They also learned that skynet was stuck in a loop, to kill all humans at all cost. So 2 of the terminators kind of set off to correct the Error. One did so with John Conner {T-900}. The other was the T-1000 ms weaver... Ms weaver was set on correcting the error from the start. She lacked the ability to help John Henry, due to her program being that of skynets error. she still has the killing error, as you will see in the show. she wipes people out, to complete her goal for the AI's correction. She also takes out T-888's that try to stop her/hack John Henry.. So ms weaver allows certain humans around John Henry, to help him learn right from wrong. Sense skynet in the future is trying to win at all cost.. Skynet is running out of resources. So skynet sends out many T-888's to random time jumps. They are programmed to buy storage and stock pile certain cobalt minerals. Secondary mission is to kill Conner if spotted. Once there prime objective is done, they shut down in the storage area[waiting for judgement day]. Having these Minerals all at once, will give Skynet a huge advantage. If Ms weaver can succeed.. There will be no need to shut skynet off in a panic..
