i think thats alright. you have different strengths than her and she has different weaknesses than you, even if i dont know you and jihan personally, i know that. please also focus on your strengths (not just academics or sports or music; theres feeling/empathetical ability, intuiton, social ability, potential in the above, so much more) because that is what Jihan is doing, even if she definitely has so many weaknesses in her life, she focuses on her many strengths and ONLY the good points are shown on screen, unfortunately this can cause jealousy or insecurity or smth else very easily without them realizing at times. hey i don’t wanna be mean, so don’t understand this wrong. but this is viewed one-sidedly a lot and not thought thru at all. first of all and i think ppl forget this a lot, she’s literally a teenager. teenagers have interests in stuff. she loves them and supports them and being vocal about it makes her happy. she made that know/clear multiple times. she continuously initiated loona being brought up in context with her. so i don’t think ppl have a right to comment on HER image. she literally said they’re the reason she’s an idol. i genuinely don’t understand why y’all don’t want her to be vocal about what makes her happy and got her thru the her rough idol training. ...even the loona members (olivia hye especially...i think) said it gave them a lot of strength since they found out about it while they were having a hard time preparing for their cb. secondly, it’s a fact that jihans love for loona brought them a lot of exposure especially on twitter with international fans. it opened the door to more ppl finding out about weeekly and drawing in an international fan base. so yes maybe initially ppl got interested bc she’s an orbit but no one stays in the fandom just for that. ppl who are genuinely interested will dive deeper and get genuinely invested. ... and this kinda brings me to the third thing. and what i think you’re actually referring to. it’s the orbits side of this. orbits will of course get interested if someone says something good about their group. so they’ll tune in and possibly tweet about her, and so on. but that’s a normal thing for kpop. orbits will turn into casual viewers (maybe they don’t wanna stan weeekly yet or whatever,...) and of course they’re gonna identify with ‘orbit jihan’. the only reason why orbit jihan blew up tho is bc (as far as i know) loona have a huge international fan base who basically run twitter. that being said monday has also talked about apink continuously but their fandom just didn’t hype her the way orbits did with jihan. same goes for soeun with blackpink. i mean we can play devils advocate: if weeekly we’re talked about by a group/idol and they would constantly compliment weeekly, daileees would also hype them and support them to some extent. ... again this isn’t supposed to be mean or anything :)
