That opening credits is really well done. Even going frame by frame through I can't quite tell how it was done

The female to male switch is staggered; Harry appears on the left about three seconds before 'Paul' receives the noodle/spaghetti 'beard' on the right. Example: 29:20(L) to 29:23 (R). Unfortunately, it's easy to cheat nowadays, and I suspect that there's a little bit of digital pixel juggling and image fiddling involved, too. Still very clever, though. I'd like to see the next phase, where one of the make-up artists is transformed into Alexei Sayle. "Who's that fat b****rd?"😁

I completely agree! It seems that their many & varied years of experience, combined with an attitude of, _"This time around we're going to do whatever we want..."_ hit a perfect apex with this series.

@@LoneKharnivore If you think they were being either misogynistic or racist in those sketeches, you didn't understand the sketches. The two sexists are obviously the punchline of their own sketch, taking the mick out of characters like them, and the blackface sketch is making fun of white liberals desperately trying to not be seen as racist.

My brother recommended Harry and Paul to me a few years back. I watched most of the first two seasons. I liked it, but it gets very samey if you binge it, so I took a break and never got back to it until I was recommended Season 3 by YT. S3 is quite a step up from S1 and S2, partly because the comedy relies less on aping celebrities and partly due to the lack of the laugh track, which I never used to mind but I find off-putting too. I appreciate S1 a lot more now, going back to it. It's a bit more hit and miss, but when it's good it's brilliant. Reminds me what comedy once was.

Love this show! And it has Daniel Kaluuya in it, which is a treat. (I just realised that's not until later series..) Great to see him having such an amazing career now. So many good comedians/comic actors in this series. You get Will Smith on screen within 2 minutes! Looks lovely as always.

Not at the time it was written. It is a non-alcoholic lager/malt beer from the UK. I only know any of this because of having the same questions as you after watching the sketch.
