Okay, but the in-jokes in this script are excellent. Like the antique dealer, Levinson Link, named after Richard Levinson and William Link, the creators of _Columbo,_ which this episode is patterned after. Or the "Gallant Endeavor" restaurant, which is the restaurant where Poirot dined and the curious inciting incident took place in "Four and Twenty Blackbirds." I love these little Easter eggs!

Imagination Theater 📻 Thank you for these stories on KZbin. I have enjoyed these stories since they began long ago on radio. My 33 year old son grew up listening to these tales as well. We both enjoy radio and audio stories. TV takes time away from living. I can get much done around my home while listening to these tales, ie making quilts. Danke sehr viel.

M Watts- Riley Hilary Caine is not old time radio. She was created by Matthew J. Elliott, first in a series of short stories and then in our series of audio adventures. Most of her tales take place in 1930’s England with a few in the late forties. She’s a natural born detective with a decidedly irrelevant attitude. Played by Australian actor Karen Heaven Hilary is one of a kind.
