Today we are going to talk about something very important for skill execution. If you have it in you, your performance flows. If you don't, then even if you are technically very strong, you will struggle to find the flow. And that thing is your self-confidence.
Athletes often feel that confidence is outside them; one good match, one century or a 50, 3wickets, one positive talk by the coach, or even a visit to a psychologist or some motivational speaker will give confidence. All this can motivate you to perform your best and support your self-confidence or belief to achieve, but it's not confidence. Then what is confidence?
