My journey is similar to yours, one of my videos popped and got over 50k views and 200 new subs. But I'm trying to stay on the ground and focus, I think it will take a while to see the same again.

Yes, it seems that is a big part of this game, trying to make that next big video. Hopefully those become less of an anomaly and more common for us, but I'm sure it requires many hours of practice honing the craft of posting quality content and engaging videos.
