So glad you were able to find your flow in editing. I'm progressing good thanks to your am sprints. I'm able to write a chapter a day with some editing as I write.

I super love your enthusiasm. ❤️ A thought occurred to me as you mentioned your reading books while you’re writing - do you find your voice or style of writing changing… somehow influenced by the book you’re currently reading? I found my writing style changed while reading books ☹️. Really sad considering how long it takes to write.

Nooo not at all. I think I would be crushed if that happened. Fortunately, I think my characters voice is so loud lol it tunes out the other writer's voice. I also focused on the structure of their story more than their voice-- such as did they ground their characters in each scene or chapter. Their themes, the settings and how well they describe things. When and where the murder took place... Only one author voice and style whom I truly identified with, but still my protagonists silence my own voice which helps create my own style of writing. Now that's what I initially has issues with was keeping my voice out of the story. I hope that makes some kind of sense to you. Thanks for viewing and sharing your feedback, I appreciate you.

@@tishbouvier 🤔 You’ve given me much to think about! Lol My own voice vs my characters’ voice. I wonder if writing in first person vs third person makes a difference here. This is what happens when you’ve not read a book in so long! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 Time to read! Thank you! 😊
