“Sometimes, you just watch greatness, and go… That was great.” Lol, I love it. It is exactly how I feel after I hear any of their songs. The song fades out, and I am like .” Damn, that was great.”

All these original outfits, from all those years along with the intruments used are now in the ABBA MUSEUM in Stockholm and being exposed for the public.

Haha can I hear some irony here, the seventies and ABBA was the most iconic thing ever with their outfits, dancing moves and video handcraft. 😉😉😉 The man who made the videos is Lars Hallström and in the beginning they hadn't a lot of money so he worked like this with different perspectives. Doesn't it all make you incredibly happy?!?! 😃😃😃 That's what it's all about! Fun reaction! 👍👍👍 Anna from Sweden

There's a movie "Muriel's wedding" starring Toni Collette where she is a big fan of Abba and athe OST is basically all Abba songs. In a scene with Rachel Griffiths, they are dressed like AnnFrid and Agnetha in this video, performing the song Waterloo in a Karaoke contest.

1975 Musicvideo was a rare thing ABBA did around 40 videos, often with a very low budget and a friend / filmstudent as director Lasse Hallström

Guys you are so good and positive!,Full of good energy and very amusing!Btw do know that there's quite few number of Abba's video parodies made by people in the net, some that caught my attention were mostly in "Knowing me..."/"The day before you came"/"Take a chance on me"/"Mamma.MIA!" too.

You guys are such good kids, I love how you are respecting your dad's music!! If you ever do another ABBA week you should check out The Name of the Game, Money, Money, Money, Does Your Mother Know, Summer Night City, and Eagle.

"Mamma Mía" (1975) for me is the best pure pop If someone ask me for what is a pop song, i give them this video and this song "Mamma Mía" have all elements: catchy melodies, more hooks, beauty voices and harmonies, it's funny It's an excellent pop song and in my Top 20 of all ABBA songs This is an iconic video for which in Australia they asked that "Mamma Mía" be released as a single They did it in 1975 and it was #1 in Australia for 10 weeks and ABBAmania woke up there When the single was released in England it had a slow but steady rise to #1 and from there toppling none other than 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen in January 31, 1976 "Mamma Mia" together with their predecessor "S.O.S." are the two songs that gave ABBA its musical identity as a pop group With both songs began ABBA's great series of more than 20 worldwide hits for six consecutive years 1975/1982 included: Fernando Dancing Queen Chiquitita The winner takes it all Super Trouper I think that at these point in Your reactions it's esentialy to see the first worldwide ABBA hit, and in it's context: "Waterloo" at Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton UK 1974, the night when ABBA schock the world these is the live perfomance: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXfWh5iDr5Z5a8U these is an historic moment in músic I hope to see you in another reaction to ABBA songs My best regards from Buenos Aires Argentina

As I recall, under Swedish tax laws at the time (maybe presently) the costumes were tax deductible. They had to be be clearly 'not suitable for everyday use' so that would explain some of their sartorial choices. Plus, it was the seventies.

By wearing 'performance' clothes (costumes) it meant they could claim them costs as a tax deduction.

When you pause in between the songs, you talk a bit too much. If you pause it pause it for just a bit and evaluate the song and the music video when it is over.

Abba were the first ever Swedish winners of the Eurovision contest but they've proved pretty successful since then with five further Eurovision wins - in 1974, 1991, 1999, 2012 and most recently 2015. The movies still suck ass.

Come on.. this is 1975. The hey days of glam rock and you`re supposed to look silly and serious at the same time. Pop videos were a new thing.
