Sometimes you feel that you don't improve too much and thats perfectly normal, even the major illustrators in bigs industrys feels exactly the same as you, is part of the process of learning how to draw, there is a point you get comfort and need try something new to expand your skills, but at least in my case, rather than demotivating me, it gives me one more reason to continue improving, you can look at old drawings of yours, whether from a month or more ago and think "Hey, today I can do this same drawing soo much better than when I started" and internally I think, I can't wait to see what I'm going to be able to achieve tomorrow, It's been a while since I last watched a video of yours and god you've improved a lot, keep it up you are doing an excellent job

Thanks for the support, I just felt like this week was a little too comfortable. I am happy with the improvements I made but just want to find ways to improve faster. Sometimes it is like you said just apart of the process. Thanks again.

:3c Love the way you color each piece! If you don't mind can I give you some advice? Artist to artist? You mentioned having difficulty capturing the 2nd eye in a 3/4 view. I notice when you draw your sketch you're using flat planes, and straight guidelines...I think what would help you is curving the grid/guidelines around the sphere in the box. Using that line to help find the curve of the upper eyelid for the furthest eye. Your facial proportions are great! One thing that helps me when referencing/drawing is finding shapes in everything! Helps simplify and breakdown the drawing quicker. For example, looking at 3:31 top art reference, how I'd break it down is get the face down, then break the hair is to chuncky triangles. Torso could just be a box, and the hand as well. Then I'd look outside around the reference...wheres the negative space? I use the background to help clean up the silhouette more. Then I'd ad ontop of my sketch the details...hair strands...face details and fix the fingers x3 after all that I do the lineart n do on. I'm in the midst of art training rn...gotta stay sharp, your videos inspire me to keep going haha KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK !!! BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAMS !!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

Thanks for the advice, I will try the curving guidelines for the eyes and eye lids. It's really something I've been noticing with my drawings and I really want to improve on it. I felt the box has been helping a lot. so I will try out what you said and hopefully I see improvement. Thank you for your support.

Nice progress, but maybe you should consider looking for real photo reference to study shadow, perspective, etc because the illustration used in anime is already be simplified to reduce workloads. Actually, you can make cartoon from real figures 😉
