Auburn and USC aren’t disappointing teams. they were overhyped in the offseason + difference conference for USC + Lincoln Riley is the HC. Kansas went back to being Kansas and Oklahoma State is ACTUALLY disappointing given the fact that the ONE team that has been blocking them from the CFP for YEARS is out of the conference now.

USC was not hyped in the off-season outside of Pate State no one had them beating LSU game one. No one had them beating michigan or Penn state in the preseason either. If anything SC is about where ppl expected them to be.

Here's the thing about Texas/OU. It is a rivalry game. Not only that it is a long-standing and heated rivalry game and in those matchups, you can never be sure what's going to happen. Oklahoma may have struggled this season, but they will be locked on winning this game. Texas will be as well, of course, but Texas (I hate that I'm going to say this) hasn't played anyone, really. Their best opponent was Michigan which is nowhere near the team it was last season. So Texas hasn't really had to dig deep. So they could be caught flat-footed by an Oklahoma team that has been tested and is determined to win THIS game. Not saying that will be enough, but I think it means Oklahoma has a much better chance at an upset than people are letting on.
