Facts. We need to win this week and if we do I strongly believe we get the first seed which is the first goal. 15-2 and 14-3 at worst is my record prediction if we win in Lambo. Then the playoffs run through Ford Field, we play 1 less game to get to the Super Bowl. We just need to get there and then anything can happen.

DFQ: would this work? NFL owners want an 18 game season. The players union should accept with the following stipulation. Instead of 15min quarters we now play with 13:30 quarters. It only makes the game 6 min shorter. The old standard 16 game 15 min quarter (60 min game time) is a total of 960 min of game time in a full season. An 18 game 13:30 min quarters (54min games is 972 season min. All season long records are relatively equal. Owners, TV networks, and Vegas have an extra game and more commercials to fill in the 3 hr time slot. Everyone, players included make more money and the super-bowl falls on Presidents’ Day weekend.

I'm not gonna lie i expected a more reasonable take about the Chiefs. Crazy that you're going to say the Lions, who are on a hot streak and feel like they have to prove themselves every week, are better than the Chiefs, whose sole focus is being in peak form for the Super Bowl run. They're willing to use the games, especially early in the season, to address the things they're not good enough at. Kelce's gonna be there in January, Pat needs to make sure Worthy and Grey and everyone else is where they need to be. They're obviously not throwing games, the focus is still winning. But they're willing to win by 1 score instead of 3 because they feel like they're getting better.
