I enjoy your uploads and applaud your willingness to share your art, life and your feelings. A few months after I started painting I uploaded a picture of some of my paintings (mainly Banksy copies, I like his art) to Reddit. I received 1300+ comments, about 50/50, some saying it was wrong, that I was thief by copying his art. The other side countered that they were fine since they were unsigned inspired-by paintings. I was so taken aback by the haters that I haven't uploaded and of the 100+ paintings I've done since. Again, I commend your commitment to your art.

Wow! You have some incredibly beautiful pieces! ❤ I think most people believe that their voices are not pleasant to hear (I know I certainly do). But you really do have a lovely voice. Looking forward to catching up on your previous videos - and anticipate many more to follow. ❤❤

I think there is a little ego involved in all of us who create content but ego isn't what made me start my channel. I make videos to share inspire, connect, and grow as a person. You are right, It is not the numbers, but I like to see them grow. Your art is beautiful. I always choose one of the seven deadly sins to work with every year during lent. Ego will be my next years challenge. Your art is beautiful as is your channel.

Thank you for voicing a deep belief of mine around the reason I make videos and the difference between sharing and creating content. Such an important distinction and I’m so excited to have found another person who I can connect with on that. Your art is gorgeous and I am constantly in awe of anyone who creates a life from their creative passions Thank you for sharing x

I love people who love themselves, and I love myself. When I love myself, it's easiest for me to love others. Also, I love the sound of my own voice, and if yours meets your expectations, I think you should love yours too: it is expressive and fun. The comment "it seems egotistical to share your life..." makes me think that is only one person's simplification of a very complicated reality. Things are so much more complicated than the labels we put on them (such as "egotistical" being bad, or sharing yourself being "egotistical"; who is to say either of these are connected? Maybe sometimes, but not always...). I'd like to include this quote from Hayao Miyazaki regarding self-criticism and how it helps ourselves grow. "Working hard should be a matter of course... it's just something you do. If you don't, nothing worthwhile will come about. Thinking about that, some people can't sleep at night. But that's a matter of course too. At times like that, I know that encouragement from other people, or comfort and consolidation, aren't any help at all. It's all on you. In those moments, can you forgive yourself? Some people can forgive themselves easily, and some people can't. That's a difference that separates the fates of those two types of people. People who can easily forgive themselves don't do very good work." I wish you well internet person!

Thank you so much for subscribing! Im glad you enjoyed the video. I will look into how I can add the translation. I thought that KZbin had the ability to generate closed captions in any language, but I will see if there's anything else I can do on my end.

Hello, maybe you could make some videos with black and white drawings in ink or pencil that will require less work time or some sketches for other future jobs or practice images so that you can make more videos for your channel and thus maybe achieve more presence and more people see your content and subscribe, obviously without stopping making oil paintings, but as a complement

Thanks for the suggestion! I'd love to make more videos, but I feel like one per month feels balanced with my other responsibilities. I try to do a few shorts every month, but I don't like those as much. Maybe I could use that time to work on another long-form video instead.

@@summerthyme Yes, you're right, responsibilities limit our time, it happens to all of us, in any case I think the important thing is even to maintain what we can do and over time, people will still join, Greetings.

The color choice and contrast of the last painting is very soulful. KZbin recommended me your video on my home page for some reason. And i clicked. I enjoyed the chill atmosphere and your paintings. And I think you are def a charismatic person. However, I am not subscribing to your channel because i am not sure why should i subscribe. I am flooded by dozens of recommendations every day from youtube and we need to choose which people to subscribe to. I am sitting here wondering why should i subscribe to your channel ? What is it i am looking for if you upload again and i get another notificaiton from your channel? another parasocial relationship with a person i dont know ? Another nathaniel drew channel where self help rhetoric is sprayed throughout ....I really am curious abt this. Esepcialy on a plateform where evreyone is pushing their content. You know what i changed my mind. i will subscribe. I want to encourage for no reason, let's go. good luck

Your comment made me chuckle. Thank you (: I appreciate your honesty and your subscribe. I also give you my blessing to leave if you decide it's not for you. A lot of my videos are similar - I share my art and my thoughts. I'm deeply interested in art, psychology, spirituality, and nature so you will have contact with all of those things if you choose to watch. My two cents is that if it makes you feel inspired, helps you to see things from a positive new perspective, or simply makes you smile, it's worth subscribing. There is definitely a ton of content to choose from, so thanks for being here!
