I just turned 32 on Jan 5th, I watch a lot of younger vloggers/youtubers because it reminds me a lot of my 20s. You, ma’am, are one of the most if not the most level headed one that I watch. Your sense of awareness is amazing. Kudos to your parents for raising such an amazing daughter.

A gentle reminder, your 20's aren't the only great time in your life, truly they're over hyped lol I'm about to be 31 and I can say 30 when it comes to not giving a f* and truly being myself has been transformative. I'd taking being 30 in covid, then sometime in my 20s. Also we're in the middle of a pandemic, and I know the stress and pressure of being slimmer as a woman is everywhere. We have never had to live through this before, and a political hot mess, be gentle with yourself. You are beautiful, amazing, brilliant, and if all you did was get up and feed yourself that's okay. We are living thru beyond stressful time. Remember to give yourself permission to just be, and know you are deserving of feeling enough, you are enough just as you are.

Agree!! I'm 34 and honestly my 30s are the best time of my life this far. I know myself way better and do things that make me happy. I'm also the healthiest mentally and physically then I was most of my 20s.

agreed! My 20's were difficult. I'm about to be 34, I was in a 13 year relationship, ended it in 2020. about 28ish you'll feel yourself literally changing. Your wants become way different. My early 30's are the best time of my life so far.

I used to have this sort of thought too. That I was “wasting” my youth not being at a lower weight. But in reality, I was wasting it by not embracing my body exactly the way it was! I’m 25 now, and much happier and more confident than I was at my lowest weight when I was 18. Absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to lose weight to feel your healthiest, but you have every right to be confident in the body you’re CURRENTLY in too ❤️

completely identify with how you're feeling about getting dressed and how it's hard to want to be "stylish" when you don't feel your best. I worked on this a lot in 2020 and feel like I'm finally getting to a place where i just get dressed and tell myself that I feel and look good ( it does help!). Brooke, give yourself some grace! I just turned 26 and I can tell you that my body is at its the healthiest and most toned (though being toned does not equal healthiest!! but both happen to be true for me) now, I feel so much more confident in my skin than I did at 23... and I am less obsessed with what food I eat and how often I work out and calories, etc. The fat that I also gained freshman year of college and couldn't get off came off without being as obsessive as I used to be. Don't put so much pressure on yourself, you are still so young! As am I! (which I also need to remind myself). We have loads of time and tons of life to live still :)

I’m studying to become a personal trainer and have gone through different ways of eating, and have come to the conclusion this past year that intuitive eating and living an active lifestyle is the best way to do things! I definitely think that different tracking systems ie calories, macros, are helpful for getting an idea of what your body needs, but I would not recommend that long term. I am so excited for you and your lifestyle goals! Just please please do not undereat! Listen to your body! Love you, you got this Brooke!

I am about to be 30 and I’m in the best place and shape of my life right now but if you asked me at your age I thought my life would be over by now and I’d be an old fart. I know it’s difficult but don’t fear the future in terms of age and comparisons, I have been told by so many people their 30s are the best time of their lives. You are so much farther than I was at 23 you are doing great! Enjoy life where you are now. So excited to see this journey! Sometimes TW // food .... But most times when I find myself overeating to the point I feel sick is when I put off the feeling of being hungry and wait to eat everything at one time instead of having a snack and then dinner! Love how real you are! I just wanted to pop on and tell you, I’m a personal trainer, and just let you know that you don’t have to justify why you want to lose weight. I know it’s easier said than done, but it’s okay to want to lose weight or to want to be at a certain body fat %. As long as you are doing it in a healthy manner, that’s awesome! I feel like so many people are afraid to tell others they want to lose weight because people say, “you don’t need to lose weight weight to be confident. Love yourself.” Or “you’re fine just the way you are.” And yes, while those are true, there is nothing wrong with wanting to challenge yourself and your body to become stronger and overall more healthy by working out and eating nutritiously. Proud of you for taking this step to become more confident and healthy in your skin! Can’t wait to watch and cheer you on!

Self love & that self confidence isn’t always built off of looks! It can have to do with feeling successful, feeling smart, feeling loved, etc. Your appearance is related to that yes, but what are some other things that make you feel good and confident? I bet being a good role model helps, having good friends, a wonderful family, all of your subscribers supporting you! That can be a source for your confidence as well. You’re the main character of your life so start acting like it! Do the things that make you feel good, manifest and work at your goals. You control your life and your feelings💪 go get it Brooke !!

The pandemic has been so hard on everyone in so many aspects but I agree with you on the health & wellness aspect. I've gained about 10 lbs this year from not exercising, using food as a stress coping mechanism; basically not taking care of myself! I made a goal to myself to take care of myself and stop looking at the numbers, counting what I'm eating, being so harsh on myself and trying to love myself more and be more forgiving. This is such a weird time but hoping it can only go up from here. Goodluck on your journey, can't wait to see more on it!

2:49 I felt this so hard. I know personally, I want to make adjustments to myself like have braces and learn makeup and such, but beyond that I think it's just important to love yourself. If you focus on changing yourself too much, you will never be content because there's always something "new" you need to do. You only have one body, one chance at life. Are you gonna spend it picking apart who you are or being comfortable with who you are and just LIVING?

I totally relate with the not wanting to dress up due to being so uncomfortable in my body. I got really into health and fitness my senior year of high school and I was killing it until I went to college and gained over 50 pounds, found out I have an autoimmune disease, and now I'm a junior in college trying to get back on track. I was telling my mom I have literally not gone shopping or bought new clothes in four years because of that. So happy for you in this new season! :)
