Been in design school for the last few months looking to get into UX primarily for the salary. Whenever I watch UX content it seems like the hunger games all the time and not fun at all. 😕. Been a long time watcher of your stuff best of luck.

i would not get into UX primarily for the salary.. it can be deceiving to see how competitive higher salary UX jobs are indeed. and not to say to let that be a limiting factor but if you're not passionate about UX, bringing about the energy that will make you a competitive applicant will be much harder. hope you fall in love with it! or find what you are passionate about

In my experience this isn’t a good sign especially in tech. constantly switching and moving staffs from one team to another especially in a short space of time. They might eventually and soon enough let you go. I had similar inexperience. 4 managers within 6months, had to time to build relationship with one before I was moved again and again and although I was very unhappy with the experience I stayed on as I was so tired at that point just coming off a gruesome job search and didn’t want to do it all over again within 6months + I actually did like the products. They were just playing politics and games. Not to say it might happen to you as it did me but it’s just something to watch out for and if you’re feeling any sort of way about it, maybe start looking alitle at what’s out there as it seem your current company isn’t really considering your well being specially mentally 😘😘
