Have you thought about using a studer grinder for doing the blades?

Why are you using two stop pins? Why do you think so few button lock knives are on the market? Why do you think there are so few integral frame knives on the market? What inspired you to start working on the Integral? I have a Protech Malibu with Skiff Bearings, and I have yet to find a knife that can dethrone it... until you announced the Integral! Please continue making long videos about it- as a product design mechanical engineer I find it fascinating. (Also, I look forward to the blade shape you choose. Maybe a reverse tanto? Thanks!

It is interesting that Grimsmo Knives is internally 2 part company. Machining side and hand craft surface finishing, heat treat, sharpening, final assembly side, lead by Eric. We see very little of that side.

Just bought my first saga and I’d happily buy another in a heartbeat that takes energel refills.

BTW: The glass you were talking about…it’s actually easily found even in kitchen sections. Lock-&-Lock even makes glass Tupperware using it, and most good glass backing forms are made from it…in case you need large(r) and/or flatter forms! Good luck & best wishes

Great video 👍 Videos of knife maintenance and blade sharpening might be a good idea 😊

The way you run this company, the quality of the product, the transparency of the process and these videos are just a few of the reasons why I am a customer for life and now want to sell my entire collection and just collect Rasks and Norsemen lol 😂 nothing else feels quite as nice anymore

It is really interesting to see the dynamics of these two. One might think that they interrupt each other, but I think they actually complement each other. Both highly knowledgeable, but while John is more the silent background inventor, Angelo is much more of the natural leader; extroverted, self assured, easy talking. I know John mostly from BoM, where he talks really easily and freely. Here he is much more silent and almost shy. I hope I don't offend anyone here. You are great guys! Also this view behind the curtain is great, I like it very much!

Running coolantguy CG985, the initial fill smells like an intense version of fresh cut apple peels but dies down after a day or two. It's always pleasant in the shop when a sump gets filled and it's too bad it goes away 😂

On the chemistry side, you need to control temperatures and chemical concentration along with immersion times. And in the limit, agitation. You need dunking robots 😊 that immerse blades according to measured temperature and concentration.
